The biggest winners and losers on last night's Raw (February 19th)

Seth Rollins Gauntlet Match
Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns and John Cena back to back.

The Elimination Chamber go-home show was defined by a gauntlet match that lasted two hours. That thriller made it the best Raw in a long time. Beyond that, things got shaky in the third hour. It was very much a tale of two different shows.

With the final major Raw event before WrestleMania six days away, which team red superstars got a crucial spotlight which could be a sign for their WrestleMania season to come? Who stumbled?

Winner: Seth Rollins

In what was my main roster match of the year so far, Seth Rollins defeated John Cena after besting Roman Reigns. This might make him the first person in history to defeat the two on the same night (correct me if I'm wrong). It's a huge rub.

Seth won't win the Elimination Chamber, but there are clearly plans in place for him for WrestleMania.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman's victory in the gauntlet match and his electric promo afterward showed beyond doubt that he should take the title at WrestleMania. Compare his promo to Roman's at the start.

Unfortunately, Roman's loss in the first round and Strowman's victory makes the result obvious on Sunday. Braun Strowman will still be heavily favored by fans, however, and his WrestleMania plans will shape up afterward.

Losers: Asuka and Nia Jax

Having Asuka do lengthy promos in English is an incredibly misguided strategy. She's done perfectly without them. She did her best, but bombed in a big way. Fortunately, it was short as predictably, Nia Jax interrupted Asuka and laid her out.

Which means she certainly won't win on Sunday. We know how WWE tropes work by now. Because of her undefeated streak, Asuka is the only exception.

Losers: The Bar

This was a full-blown 50/50 match. The lowly Titus Worldwide beat the Raw tag team champions, which will lead to a title match which they'll lose. Its only purpose is to fill out space on the card.

Loser: Sasha Banks

I mostly stayed up to watch this match so I could see if anything was in the works to further Sasha's heel turn. No such thing happened. This was yet another random 6 woman tag team match. Alexa Bliss tapped out, which would usually mean a victory on the pay-per-view, but the "alliance" with Mickie James might throw a monkey wrench into those plans. I hope.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
