The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Given his extraordinary career and unrivaled legacy, his induction into the category was inevitable.

While The Deadman was impressive throughout the year, he will be a hot topic every time WrestleMania season kicks in. The Undertaker and WrestleMania are almost synonymous due to his streak at the event.

Not only was the streak one of the most incredible things to happen in pro wrestling, but it also featured some of the finest clashes ever. Though not all the contests were terrific, a majority of them are still worth a rewatch.

We will rank the five best Undertaker matches on our list at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

#5 in our list of The Undertaker's best WrestleMania matches - against Triple H- WrestleMania XXVII, 2011

The Phenom and Triple H were two of the biggest superstars in WWE during the Attitude Era and then the Ruthless Aggression. Throughout the years, the two titans locked horns on many occasions.

The legendary rivals fought in a trilogy of WrestleMania matches. The two superstars are only the second pair after The Rock and Steve Austin to compete at WrestleMania thrice.

After a formidable bout at WrestleMania X-Seven, Taker and Triple H were booked for a rematch ten years later. Their match at WrestleMania XVII lacked an intriguing buildup except Shawn Michaels, suggesting his friend abandon the idea of facing the Deadman.

However, the match at the event covers up all the existing problems and is easily one of the best. As the match was no-holds-barred, both the superstars did everything they could to win.

The moment Triple H impersonated the Undertaker's taunts and even gave the latter a Tombstone Pile Driver, everyone thought that was over. But The Phenom survived and eventually won the contest by submission.

Even in their mid-40s, both superstars were able to put on a stellar performance. Undertaker was taken away on a stretcher after the match due to the physical intensity of the brawl.

#4. The Phenom defeated The Rated-R Superstar- WrestleMania XXIV, 2008

The Deadman won the only Elimination Chamber match of his career in 2008 to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XXIV.

The buildup to the event was extremely intriguing, as his opponent Edge was desperate to break the streak. However, the only thing he could do at the event was change the streak score from 15-0 to 16-0.

That being said, the contest was absolutely stunning where both superstars got the chance to shine in the main event.

#3. The Undertaker defeated Triple H - Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania XXVIII, 2012

The Undertaker was disappointed about being taken away on a stretcher after WrestleMania 27 and challenged Triple H for a rematch the following year. However, the Game had taken on a managerial role by then and believed the streak was best for the business.

Eventually, after getting frustrated with the Taker constantly mocking him, Triple H agreed to a rematch. Shawn Michaels was announced as the special guest referee, who spiced up the scenario.

The two titans locked horns in a Hell in a Cell match. Their brawl was almost as intense as their previous encounter, but Michaels' role made it even better.

Even a Sweet Chin Music by Michaels, followed by a Pedigree, couldn't stop the soon-to-be Hall of Famer that day. The Phenom eventually won the contest with a pinfall counted by Shawn Michaels.

#2. The Phenom defeated Mr. WrestleMania - WrestleMania XXVI, 2010

Shawn Michaels was perhaps more desperate than anyone else to break the streak. Having failed to do so at WrestleMania 25, he tried everything to convince the Undertaker for a rematch.

The Deadman accepted the challenge at the stipulation that Michaels would have to retire if he lost. The Heartbreak Kid agreed to earn his rematch.

Their match at WrestleMania 26 was spectacular. It was probably the only instance where fans were equally supporting the Last Oulaw's opponent at WrestleMania because his career was on the line.

Eventually, The Phenom ended Michaels' career in what was a thrilling contest right from the beginning.

#1. The Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania XXV, 2009

The first match between Shawn Michaels and Taker at WrestleMania was certainly the better of the two bouts. Their match was booked when Michaels claimed himself to be capable of ending the streak.

Not only was it the best match of Undertaker's or Michaels' career, but it was also arguably the best in WrestleMania history. It's hard to believe that the two superstars were above 40 in the match, putting on a thrilling encounter.

Ultimately, Taker bettered his score from 15-0 to 16-0.
