WWE had a lot of work to do on RAW before Survivor Series. Before the pay-per-view, the final episode of the show needed to have some big moments to build the hype for Sunday.

Bianca Belair impressed the WWE Universe once again and took down Tamina to make a statement on RAW. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch cut a promo for her match against Charlotte Flair before Liv Morgan interrupted her. A brief brawl allowed Liv to counter the Manhandle Slam and stand tall to end the segment.

WWE killed off the momentum The Dirty Dawgz had built by handing them a loss against AJ Styles and Omos. It looks like the company will turn Styles and Omos face soon. Queen Vega defeated Nikki A.S.H. on RAW before Rhea Ripley took down Carmella. Tensions seem to be rising between the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions on RAW.

The show also hosted a few big matches that did well to hype Sunday's Survivor Series event. Take a look at the five things WWE got right on RAW this week.

#5. Big E hyped his match against Roman Reigns on WWE RAW

WWE Champion Big E opened RAW with an in-ring promo. Without wasting Usosime, he spoke about Roman Reigns and The Usos' attack on Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on SmackDown.

Big E claimed that he would take a piece out of Roman Reigns at Survivor Series that The Tribal Chief would never return. He wanted to get payback, and that was exactly what the RAW Superstar was preparing for.

After addressing the Universal Champion, Big E turned his attention to Kevin Owens' attack at the end of last week's RAW. This brought out The Prizefighter.

Owens claimed he was forced into it and was now ready to be the bad guy everyone expects him to be. Big E left the ring to go after KO, but The Usos came out of nowhere to attack the WWE Champion.

Big E did more to build the match between Reigns for Survivor Series this week with a single promo that WWE has done all month. He cut straight to the point and made sure that everyone knew that things had gotten too personal.

Reigns and E will likely put on the best match of the night at Survivor Series. It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top on Sunday night.

#4. Seth Rollins took down Riddle for a tag team win on WWE RAW

The Usos tried to take down WWE Champion Big E on RAW after he was done with his promo. This brought out Riddle rushed to Big E's aid.

Then Sonya Deville booked a tag team match between the two teams. Things heated up early as Big E vented his frustration at Jimmy Uso. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins joined the commentary team.

The Original Bro also worked on the twins and kept them at bay for. The Usos finally made a comeback before Big E nearly threw Jummy into Rollins. The Messiah got involved to cause a disqualification before Randy Orton came out to even the score.

A six-man tag team match picked up thereafter and all six men delivered their signature moves. In the end, Rollins hit a pair of rolling elbows and stacked Riddle up for the win. The Usos tried to attack Riddle, but Orton hit Jey Uso with an RKO. The latter was left in the ring where Big E delivered a "message" to Reigns, hitting a Big Ending.

The matches for Survivor Series finally started to warm up thanks to this contest. RK-Bro will take on The Usos at the show. Meanwhile, Big E and Rollins also got involved in building towards their future WWE Championship match.

#3. The Street Profits and Alpha Academy put on a good show on WWE RAW

After a backstage interaction, The Street Profits geared up to take on Otis and Chad Gable of The Alpha Academy on WWE RAW, Dawkins started well for his team and tried to slow down Gable early on.

After a technical exchange between the two men, Dawkins showcased his power before tagging Ford into the match. The animated superstar went on a roll and hit a beautiful dropkick to announce his arrival.

Otis couldn’t stay out of the ring for long and used his power to take out both members of The Street Profits. Both teams continued to make quick tags and kept the action ticking.

Ford tried to take down Otis with some clotheslines but failed to knock him off his feet. He unloaded on the big man until Otis popped him up for a huge slam.

Gable tagged in soon after and went for his finisher. Dawkins stopped him in his tracks, and Ford used Gable’s momentum to pin him and pick up the win.

The two teams put on a good show on RAW. The Street Profits has been the top tag team for several months and is rebuilding well once again. Meanwhile, WWE needs to give Alpha Academy a significant push on RAW. Otis and Gable are excellent in the ring and deserve to hold the tag titles soon.

#2. Kevin Owens and Finn Balor competed in the best match of the night on WWE RAW

Finn Balor met Kevin Owens backstage and informed him that since Seth Rollins was no longer his opponent on WWE RAW, The Prince would face him. The two men met in the ring later in the show.

KO kept finding ways to take down Balor and tried to powerbomb him into the apron. The Prince fought back and took him down with a spinning side suplex.

Both men hit their signature moves and tried to take each other down. Owens used cheap tactics to keep the upper hand and nearly took Balor down with a slam from the middle rope.

The fight spilled over to the floor, where Balor drilled KO with a shotgun dropkick into the barricade. The Prince went for the Coup de Grace, but KO avoided it and hit a massive powerbomb. He finally took out Balor with a Stunner and picked up the win.

The match was fantastic and lifted the grade of this week’s RAW. Both men have shared the ring on several occasions, and they've got enough time this week to put on another good performance. RAW needed a big match late in the night, and the two former NXT Champions delivered.

#1. Bobby Lashley took out Rey Mysterio on WWE RAW

Bobby Lashley returned to WWE RAW last week and destroyed Dominik Mysterio. He took the young superstar’s spot on Team RAW for Survivor Series after a dominant win.

This week, Rey Mysterio got a match against The Almighty. The main event saw Rey try hard to avoid Lashley’s strength with his speed. The latter finally got his hands on Rey and hit a few impressive moves before the luchador fought back. He avoided getting slammed into the ring post and sent Lashley into it.

The two men continued to put on a good show as Dominik watched on from ringside. The Almighty finally ran Mysterio’s head into the ring post and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rey finally got Lashley in position and hit the 619. However, Lashley caught him when he hit the splash and applied the Hurt Lock for the win.

After the match, Austin Theory came out to attack Dominik. Adam Pearce then awarded Rey’s place on Team RAW to Theory. The creative team is doing well at rebuilding Lashley as an unstoppable heel.

The match was predictable, but it delivered anyway. However, it doesn’t make sense why Pearce replaced a former WWE Champion Rey with the newcomer Austin Theory.
