NXT Takeover: War Games III will take place approximately two weeks from now on November 23rd, 2019. Two War Games matches have already been announced for the event. In the first-ever Women's War Games match, NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and an unknown partner will face off against Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim. Undisputed Era will also team together in War Games for the third consecutive year against Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, and Tommaso Ciampa, as well as an unnamed partner.

Tommaso Ciampa made his return to NXT after Undisputed Era had an extremely successful night. Adam Cole retained the NXT Championship against Matt Riddle and Undisputed Era successfully defended their championships against The Street Profits. Keith Lee and Matt Riddle both have their own issues with Undisputed Era costing them title opportunities and joined Tommaso Ciampa in his crusade to take down the group. There is, however, one partner still yet to be named.

We take a look at three NXT Superstars who might join Team Ciampa in their upcoming War Games match against Undisputed Era.

#3: Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano has now been a part of NXT for a little bit more than four years.
Johnny Gargano has now been a part of NXT for a little bit more than four years.

Before Finn Balor's shocking heel turn, Johnny Gargano was certainly going to be a part of this match. However, there is now a possibility that Johnny Gargano is going to face off against Finn Balor in a singles match. At this point, there is only one way in which 'Johnny Wrestling' can be added to this bout. If Finn Balor is added to Undisputed Era's team, then Johnny Gargano will almost certainly be added to Tommaso Ciampa's team to even the odds.

It doesn't make sense for Johnny Gargano to have been ready to fight alongside Tommaso Ciampa against Undisputed a few weeks ago, only for him to be removed from this feud. There is also not an abundance of babyface talent on the roster and Johnny Gargano would certainly be the most skilled Superstar that can be added to the match, as there are few in all of WWE that can match his in-ring abilities.

#2: Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott

Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott has made an impact on both 205 Live and NXT over the past few weeks.
Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott has made an impact on both 205 Live and NXT over the past few weeks.

Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott has proven himself to be a rising star in both NXT and 205 Live. He first emerged in the NXT Breakout Tournament with an excellent effort against Cameron Grimes, who would manage to escape with a victory over Scott. Scott would then have a series of exciting matches on 205 Live including his match with then Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak.

After NXT made the move to the USA Network, 'Swerve' found even more opportunities in show-stealing matches with Roderick Strong, Dominik Dijakovic, and The Forgotten Sons (in a six-man tag match that also involved Breezango). He has also scored multiple victories over Ariya Daivari on 205 Live.

One way to present this star in the making as one of NXT's main Superstars is by having him fight alongside the Black and Gold Brand's biggest faces against the Undisputed Era. He has a reason to want to get revenge on Undisputed Era, as well. It was their interference that cost him a recent victory over Roderick Strong.

#1: Dominik DIjakovic

Dominik Dijakovic is the most likely superstar to be added to this matchup.
Dominik Dijakovic is the most likely superstar to be added to this matchup.

A few weeks ago, Dominik Dijakovic faced Keith Lee in their highly awaited rubber match. Roderick Strong would interrupt that match and as a result, the NXT Superstar ended up having to defend his championship against both behemoths. Roderick Strong would successfully retain his championship, but did not have to pin Dominik Dijakovic to do so.

Dominik Dijakovic likely has unfinished business with Undisputed Era and even went as far as to volunteer to team with his rival Keith Lee against the NXT Tag Team Champions. While Keith Lee ultimately ended up picking Matt Riddle as his partner, it was noted on commentary that Dijakovic had put his name in the hat. Given the fact that Dijakovic is still being booked strongly, it is likely that he is being prepared for this spot.
