Here are the matches to look the most forward to at WrestleMania 35
Here are the matches to look the most forward to at WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania 35 is just a few hours away.

For the first time ever, the Grandest Stage of Them All will feature an all-women's WrestleMania main event, including Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey against SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair against Becky Lynch in a Winner Take All Match.

However, like every year, there are a few select matches that fans look forward to the most. WrestleMania is a long-format show, and from a wide variety of scheduled matchups this year, it is important to sort the best matches for fans in a hurry.

Here are the most awaited matches that will take place at this year's WrestleMania...

#5: Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin (Kurt Angle's Farewell Match)

There is more to this match than what people may think at first glance
There is more to this match than what people may think at first glance

Hold on, let me explain.

There is a lot of negative controversy surrounding Kurt Angle's Farewell matchup at this year's WrestleMania.

Most of the WWE Universe doesn't want Baron Corbin to be Kurt Angle's farewell opponent. That is where the catch is. According to numerous reports, we might see a last-minute swerve when it comes to Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin.

Also, keep in mind that it is unclear as to what roles John Cena and The Undertaker will play at WrestleMania 35.

Whatever the case may be, things might take an unexpected turn when it comes to Kurt Angle's Farewell match. For what it's worth, any controversy only adds to further speculation. Even if a lot of fans don't approve of this match at all, chances are, most of us will be glued to our screens, only because it is Kurt Angle's Farewell bout.

By adding all the speculation and controversy together, Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin might not go the way we think it will, and that is why this particular matchup is one to look out for at the Grandest Stage of Them All...

#4: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Universal Championship Match)

Can Seth Rollins conquer The Beast?
Can Seth Rollins conquer The Beast?

After outlasting 29 other Superstars to emerge victorious in the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Seth Rollins chose to challenge Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35.

The entire feud is based upon the David vs. Goliath scenario, where Seth Rollins is David, the competitor who has to defy the odds in order to conquer Goliath, that is, Brock Lesnar.

Admittedly, this feud did lose some steam because of various other plotlines that converged during Seth Rollins' Road to WrestleMania 35.

This will not be the first time that Rollins has battled Lesnar for a World Title on The Grandest Stage of Them All. At WrestleMania 31, The Architect cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to turn Lesnar’s title defense against Roman Reigns into an impromptu Triple Threat Match, where Rollins emerged victorious in what would be recalled as one of the Best WrestleMania Endings of All Time.

But times have changed, and even though we expect these two competitors to put on a stellar contest, it is the result that matters the most. So who will reign supreme? Seth Rollins, or, Brock Lesnar?

#3: Triple H vs. Batista (No Holds Barred Match)

Even though their brutal rivalry culminated in 2005, Triple H and Batista will collide at WrestleMania for the second time in their careers, this time in a No Holds Barred Match. If Triple H loses, he will be forced to retire from in-ring competition.

Even though the recent few weeks of buildup has been quite nonchalant, this rivalry has been hinted at since the past year.

From SmackDown 1000 to Ric Flair's 70th Birthday celebration on RAW, the animosity between The Cerebral Assasin and The Animal will lead to the two colliding at WrestleMania 35.

This time though, it is strictly about pride.

On top of that, a No Holds Barred match indicates that both performers will not limit themselves to one particular aspect of in-ring wrestling. Maybe some old-timers might also show up, who knows?

WrestleMania is the Showcase of Immortals, and Triple H vs. Batista is the commercial matchup that will draw attention this year.

#2: "The New" Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kofi Kingston (WWE Championship Match)

Remember when the entire WWE Universe clamored behind Daniel Bryan on the Road To WrestleMania 30, a few years back?

Well, the tables have turned.

It is Kofi Kingston's moment now. After 11 long years, who would've even thought that The Dreadlocked Dynamo would face-off against the former fan-favourite, Daniel Bryan, for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35?

Unlike a lot of other feuds this year, KofiMania has been running wild since the beginning, never to lose steam in between. In a way, there is a lot of momentum in favour of this matchup heading into WrestleMania 35.

After 11 years of blood, sweat & tears (and a buildup filled with obstacles), can Kofi Kingston finally realize his dream of becoming the WWE Champion at this stage in his wrestling career?

#1: Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Winner Take All Match)

The Main Event of WrestleMania 35 has a lot of momentum on its side
The Main Event of WrestleMania 35 has a lot of momentum on its side

For the first time in WWE history, a women’s match will be the main event of WrestleMania, as Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will headline The Show of Shows in a Winner Take All Match for both titles!

The buildup of this feud has been quite complicated, to say the least. It started off in a very spontaneous way, where we realized that Becky Lynch just might be the next big thing.

Somewhere in the middle, things became repetitive, but nevertheless, after an absolute bonkers brawl between the three women on the go-home RAW episode for WrestleMania 35, this feud has all the momentum riding into the Grandest Stage of Them All.

History will be made, but most importantly, if the matchup lives up to its hype, then we might have a WrestleMania classic to look back upon in the future.

Tune in to WrestleMania to see who emerges from the historic main event with both titles, Sunday, April 7, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the WWE Network!
