SummerSlam 2019 was eventful. It had some questionable booking decisions but was entertaining throughout. From Erik Rowan's brutal attack on Buddy Murphy to Edge's rare spear on Elias, the show maintained a solid tempo.

Surprisingly, Trish Stratus and Charlotte arguably delivered the 'match of the night.' The Disarmer proved to be too much for the Queen of Harts. Styles triumphed over Ricochet yet again, Bayley and Owens won emphatically. Also, Rollins burned it down.

But which of these moments were the best? Let's have a look at the top 6 moments from WWE SummerSlam 2019.

#6 "Thank you, Trish!"

Even Charlotte Flair has nothing but respect for Trish Stratus.

Trish Stratus returned to fight her first singles match in years. The Queen of Queens had her work cut out against the Queen of WWE, Charlotte Flair. She didn't disappoint.

The match had its moments. The crowd singing the Canadian national anthem was a classic on its own. Trish applying the Figure-8 had the crowd applauding. Everything she did was received well by her hometown fans.

However, the best moments came after the match. After Charlotte had left the ring to Stratus, the legend reciprocated the respect of the fans. She did her trademark signature, before bowing down to leave the building.

This brought back memories of her original retirement match against Lita. She had won the Women's Championship then - she is happy winning hearts now.

#5 The Rated R Superstar returns home

While we were anticipating the return of Ronda Rousey or Sasha Banks, it was the Rated R Superstar who returned home. Edge returned to interrupt WWE's singer cum guitarist, Elias.

As the heel was on his barrage of words against the town, the Metalingus hit, and out came Canada's own WWE Hall of Famer. The segment wasn't long, and the action was limited to Edge hitting Elias with a spear. But it didn't need to be anything more.

As for Elias, he has lost his momentum recently. But he, like the Miz, wouldn't take a lot of time to get it back. He only needs the creative team to come up with something of substance for him.

#4 Natalya applies the Sharpshooter on the top rope

SummerSlam had its cool spots. Randy Orton's "RKO Outta Nowhere" will never get old. AJ Styles finished off Ricochet in style with a phenomenal Styles clash, catching Ricochet mid-air.

However, the most original spot of the night was when Natalya trapped Becky Lynch in the Sharpshooter, on the top rope.

At SummerSlam, Natalya proved her worth. The two women electrically started the night. Lynch's Sharpshooter on Natalya got a great reaction, but the Queen of Harts' move was memorable.

Becky Lynch walked out as the winner, but Natalya has raised her stature after a wonderful showing at the biggest party of the summer.

#3 Rollins' Frog Splash onto the announce table

Seth Rollins has defeated Brock Lesnar to become the Universal Champion. It's unheard of that somebody has pinned Lesnar twice in a row. But Rollins has slain the Beast once again.

The match was gruesome. Lesnar punished Rollins with Suplexes and F5s, and once even dismissively swung the BeastSlayer with the tape wrapped around his ribs.

However, Rollins found ways to take the Beast down throughout the match. The highlight of Rollins' attack was his top-rope frog splash on Lesnar who was lying on the announce table.

Rollins' heart was on full show. He stood up to the Beast and walked out a bigger star.

#2 Are you listening?

Kevin Owens beat Shane McMahon, predictably. But he didn't do it most predictably. The match had many moments, the best of which was Kevin Owens' merciless obliteration of Elias. The low blow to the boss was as fiery.

However, 3 words eclipsed the other moments of the match. Possibly referencing the crazy crowd reaction, Owens said, "Are you listening?" It was said with authority and passion, and everyone heard him.

Kevin Owens now has a ton of momentum. WWE would not want to mess up his run since he has everything to be a top face.

#1 The Fiend's entrance

The Fiend made a perfect debut. His maniacal laughter in the end before disappearing, the dominating performance against Balor, and his terrifying psyche worked wonders in mesmerizing the crowd.

However, his entrance was SummerSlam's highlight. It left everyone in awe. If you haven't watched it yet, we strongly urge you to watch the video embedded above.

Wyatt's look, his remixed entrance theme, his horrifying lantern, the lights, and the insane crowd reaction made the Fiend's arrival picture-perfect. It was the moment of the night.
