Last week on Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh, there were two meetings held backstage. Apart from the regular talent meeting, there was another special meeting between Vince McMahon, Triple H and Brock Lesnar.
There has been no confirmation on what exactly was discussed with the WWE World Heavyweight champion but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there has been no change this week in regards to the issues between Lesnar and WWE. Obviously it’s possible that the situation was worked out this week and we just don’t know yet.
There was a buzz at Raw that Paul Heyman’s fiery promo indicated that Lesnar and WWE have agreed on a new deal but that’s not confirmed. It was pointed out how WWE wouldn’t allow Heyman to mention UFC if Lesnar really was on his way out.
With that said, word coming out of Raw this week is that Vince is still confident that he and Lesnar will get a new deal done.
