What's the story?

Prior to the conclusion of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced two big matches for next week's program.

Sasha Banks will take on Bayley in singles competition and Bray Wyatt and "Woken" Matt Hardy will take on The Revival to determine who will face The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

In case you didn't know...

The tension between Banks and Bayley has been building for weeks and each of them has scored a victory against the other in their series of games and matches.

Wyatt, on the other hand, finally turned face for the first time since coming to the main roster and will team with Hardy for the foreseeable future.

The heart of the matter

The saga between Bayley and Banks has been one of the best parts of Raw and Women's wrestling in general with great matches and interesting segments encompassing the Road to WrestleMania 34.

Both women competed in the inaugural WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and would make it to the final three, but Banks would get eliminated by Bayley - marking the first time Bayley has gotten a sneak attack on Banks since their feud intensified.

Their match next week will more than likely be where one of them turn heel and kick their feud into overdrive for the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view.

While Banks and Bayley build to Backlash, the team of Hardy and Wyatt has their sights set on the recent NXT Call-ups, The Authors of Pain.

Both teams defeated their opponents on the Raw after WrestleMania to advance in the tournament for a chance at championship silver.

What's next?

Tune in next week to Raw to see how these matches turn out.
