The Lunatic Fringe is expected to leave WWE post WrestleMania 35. Even WWE confirmed it through their official Twitter Account. However, there has been lots of speculations regarding this being a "work".

A few days ago, a rumor began circulating, confirming the above theories. According to it, Dean Ambrose himself pitched a storyline where his departure would be announced in advance, and that he would start getting treated unfairly on-screen. If the story works and creates the much-needed buzz for WWE, Ambrose would have a 'right to refuse' clause added into his contract. If the story doesn't work, The Lunatic Fringe might actually walk out of WWE.

Now, with just over a month remaining until WrestleMania 35, it's time WWE shifts its focus towards this story. WrestleMania season is the most watched and talked about part of the Professional Wrestling year. The story-lines featured during this season, even the preliminary ones, get extra attention. So, if WWE has something big in store, it should definitely be revealed during this season.

So, now that the Elimination Chamber is over and we head to our next stop, Fastlane, Dean Ambrose should start moving up the card. Whether a work or not, Ambrose is bound to get "punished" until April. However if the WWE wants to capitalize on it, the time is NOW!

Ambrose's "goodbye" story needs to be given special attention. So, starting tonight, expect some major developments in the Lunatic Fringe's 'quest to quit' arc. The best thing that can come out of this arc, is that a superstar can get the rub by feuding with Ambrose on the road to The Show of Shows.

There are several talents who can fill in that role such as Elias, Kevin Owens, EC3 and even the man who eliminated Ambrose at Royal Rumble, Aleister Black. With consistency, dedication and accuracy, WWE has a chance to hit big with this storyline. With AEW shaping up to be a strong alternative to WWE, the next couple of months should be very crucial for WWE. Only time is the answer to all questions for now.
