Records play a huge role in WWE TV. Ronda Rousey recently broke Alexa Bliss' longest reigning Raw Women's Championship record ahead of her WrestleMania main event, which has now boosted the former UFC Champion's odds when it comes to overcoming both of her opponents on Sunday night.

WWE boasts about attendance records, win/loss records and even records that each star has of their own with individual Championships, but WrestleMania is a completely different ball game. There are so many WrestleMania records that have been created over the past 35 years, so much so that there is now some room for many of these to be broken on Sunday night.

Here are some interesting records that may be broken on April 7th.

#3. Most Social Activity During The Show

WWE made history back at WrestleMania 32 when the show became the most Social event in WWE history with more than 2.5 million mentions of the event throughout the day. Whilst the show was streaming live there were more than 1.3 million Tweets sent out and more than 250 million views on WWE.com.

Of course, history will be made at this year's WrestleMania when the women main event the show for the first time and the WWE Universe will definitely be vocal about the fact that this is a huge moment in history.

The company has pushed Twitter and Facebook over the past few years with The Mixed Match Challenge appearing on only Facebook for the WWE Universe to watch for free. Hopefully, this year is a huge year for the company as WWE continues to go from strength to strength, showing their dominance on Social Media throughout their biggest show of the year.

WrestleMania 32 was the most watched WrestleMania in history with the WWE Network reaching 1.82 million global households alone.

#2. Met Life Stadium Attendance Record

WWE returns to the Met Life Stadium for the first time since WrestleMania 29 this coming Sunday night and it appears that the tri-state area could see another attendance record broken by WWE.

Natalya stated during her appearance on Busted Open Radio earlier this week that WrestleMania 35 was sold out. This means that the attendance for the show could reach around 82,500 which is the capacity for the stadium. This is much higher than the attendance record which was set for the Met Life Stadium six years ago which saw the main event of The Rock versus John Cena bring in 80,676 paying customers.

WWE likes setting attendance records and it appears that the first ever Women's WrestleMania Main Event will definitely do the business for them.

#1. Longest WrestleMania in history

WrestleMania 34 set the record as the longest WrestleMania in WWE history, running for five hours, ten minutes and 54 seconds without the two hours kick off show that streamed on Facebook and YouTube ahead of the main show.

Of course, WWE has a much bigger roster this year and have been teasing an incredible 17 matches for this year's card which could see the whole of the show including the kick off pushed to around seven and a half hours.

WrestleMania was once just four hours long, but the addition of the kickoff show and the fact that the company now streams the show live on their own Network means that they don't have to keep inside as many rules as before so they are able to host some lengthy pay-per-view events.

Buckle up, WrestleMania 35 is currently set to be the longest WrestleMania in WWE history.
