Elimination Chamber was a magnificent show where some great matches took place. Though some bouts disappointed the fans, it was a stupendous show before WrestleMania. Several new rivalries are likely to develop after the show in Houston, and some feuds might continue till the Show of Shows.

The Intercontinental title changed hands at Elimination Chamber as Finn Balor won his maiden Intercontinental Championship in a handicap match against Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. While Ronda Rousey retained her Raw women's title against Ruby Riott, Daniel Bryan survived five other men to retain the WWE title in a traditional Elimination Chamber match.

Buddy Murphy retained the Cruiserweight title against Akira Tozawa, and Sasha Banks and Bayley became the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions after overpowering five other teams.

The Universal champion Brock Lesnar did not take part at Elimination Chamber. As a matter of fact, the Smackdown Women's title and the US title were also not defended at the Toyota Center.

WWE's next PPV is Fastlane, which is set to take place on 10th March at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Fastlane will be the final PPV before WrestleMania 35, and it will play a significant role. In all honesty, Fastlane has been a substandard PPV, after its inception in 2015 but WWE will be eager to produce a remarkable show this year.

Since Fastlane will be a dual brand PPV this year, it could turn out to be an imposing show in Cleveland. Fastlane is the last phase before the Grandest Stage of Them All and the WWE Universe will get a clear view of the feuds before the Show of Shows at Metlife Stadium.

Here we discuss four bouts that might take place at Fastlane.

#4 Aleister Black vs Elias

Aleister Black made his main roster debut on Raw and he defeated Elias. Considering the charisma of Elias, he could bring the best out of Black. Black needs a credible opponent for his first main roster feud, and Elias is undoubtedly a great choice who is popular in the WWE Universe.

Black attained immense popularity in NXT where he became the NXT Champion. He had some mind-boggling bouts with Lars Sullivan, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and many more. Other than winning the NXT title, Black also won the NXT Male Competitor of the Year award in 2017.

Black will be aiming to continue his impressive run on the main roster. Since Elias is also a top-notch performer in the squared circle, they can steal the show at Fastlane. The feud could continue till Fastlane, but it might not extend after the PPV in Cleveland. Black needs an elite opponent of the red brand if he wants to make a mark at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

#3 Asuka vs Mandy Rose

Asuka is the current Smackdown Women's Champion, but she did not have a match at Elimination Chamber. Asuka's last match was at the Royal Rumble, where she beat Becky Lynch. Hence, she needs a new opponent at Fastlane, and Mandy Rose could be a credible opponent.

Since Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are competing for the Raw Women's Championship match, Asuka needs a good opponent before WrestleMania 35. Smackdown women's division lacks prominent names to fight the Empress of Tomorrow.

Asuka has a significant stature and has achieved sky-high success in WWE. She was the former NXT Women's Champion, and she was unbeaten in her NXT career. The winning run halted when Asuka faced Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania last year and the remarkable streak lasted 914 days.

Mandy Rose might not be an ideal opponent for Asuka, but she could be a fitting opponent to prove Asuka's dominance before WrestleMania. Moreover, Mandy is a great heel who can create a remarkable heat with Asuka, who is a face. However, Mandy cannot match Asuka's dexterity in the ring, and the rivalry could end up after Fastlane.

#2 Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley

Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley started their rivalry after the Royal Rumble. Lashley attacked Balor on the Raw after Royal Rumble, and afterwards, they collided at Elimination Chamber, where Balor won the Intercontinental title in a handicap match against Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley. The rivalry could extend after Elimination Chamber, and there's a chance they face each other at Fastlane.

Balor had a memorable start of the year as he got a title shot at Royal Rumble. He challenged the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, but he failed to conquer the Beast Incarnate. However, Balor grabbed his maiden Intercontinental title at Elimination Chamber.

Balor and Lashley are exceptional performers in the squared circle, and they can offer a fantastic one-on-one bout at Fastlane. Since Lio Rush is the back up of Lashley, Balor could be accompanied by Ricochet, who made his main roster debut on Raw. The feud has been exciting and the former Universal Champion Finn Balor is expected to stay Intercontinental Champion for a long time.

#1 Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch

The former best friends are likely to lock horns at Fastlane, and it might pave the way for the triple threat match at the Show of Shows. Becky Lynch was set to face the current Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey, but she was removed from the match.

The former Raw and Smackdown Women's champion Charlotte Flair was announced the replacement of Lynch at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Lynch and Charlotte offered some memorable bouts in the past, and they could repeat history if they collide in Cleveland. Lynch turned on Charlotte at Summerslam and her fortunes changed after turning heel. She became one of the popular superstars of the women's division and she won the Smackdown women's title at Hell In a Cell.

The two women could fight with a stipulation at Fastlane. Since Charlotte is already part of the Raw Women's Championship match, the stipulation could be to add Lynch in the match. Therefore, if Lynch manages to beat Charlotte at Fastlane, she could be added to the Raw Women's title match at WrestleMania 35.

Moreover, Lynch won the women's Royal Rumble match, and she is a deserving candidate to challenge the current Raw Women's Champion.
