Chris Jericho opens up about his real life feud with Goldberg

WCW rebel?

– Chris Jericho has been one of the shining lights of the WWE and wrestling industry in general.

Jericho recently made a comeback on RAW and looks set to be appearing on our TV sets till the Royal Rumble. Before the days of glory in the WWE, Chris Jericho was plying his trade on WCW Nitro along with the likes of Goldberg and Hulk Hogan.

WCW Nitro was the biggest threat to the WWE and had a strong attitude. Jericho appeared on WOOOOO! Nation podcast by Ric Flair and spoke in particular about Goldberg, who he had a major problem with.

Chris Jericho was involved in a feud where he would call Goldberg out without any response and win the match. Finally, Goldberg would answer and Jericho would go against Goldberg in a squash match – which Jericho hated.

Jericho said that he used a trick adapted from Chris Benoit and went into hiding inside the arena. Jericho was not found and the match did not take place. When Huk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bill Goldberg asked him about it and made their displeasure known, Jericho had a strong reply.

After a heated debate, he spoke about kicking Goldberg where it hurts the most and also said that a wrestler is truly over when the fans acknowledge you. Jericho had to be in a segment with Goldberg later where he was hit by a huge spear.

There hasn't been any sort of interaction between these two wrestlers since Goldberg left the WWE.
