Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston are two of the best performers on the Blue Brand, and they are currently involved in a feud for the WWE Championship. As easy as it sounds, the two have put on a clinical show between and beyond the ropes in the buildup to the match.

The Legend Killer has called The New Day member 'Stupid' on various occasions. Randy made this feud personal when he talked about Kofi's son sending him a letter a few weeks back, and this week, they brawled amidst the fans as well.

This feud has reached a boiling point, and their rivalry will culminate at WWE Clash of Champions. There is a possibility The Apex Predator will walk with his hand raised high and here are three reasons why Randy Orton could end Kofi Kingston's first reign as WWE Champion.

#3 Kofi Kingston's character has become stale

Kofi Kingston is finally at the top after his journey in the company for the last 11 years. He had a great underdog story going for him into and shortly after WrestleMania, but it seems to have gone downhill since SummerSlam.

His character has become stale, and that is one of the biggest drawbacks for his character. As a champion, the character needs to evolve, but it seems like since SummerSlam, his character has lost its charm. If Kofi decides to rejuvenate his character and add some spin to it just like Becky Lynch or Kevin Owens, one can be sure that the character will become better and that is the most important thing.

Every wrestler needs to work with a character, and if the character continues to evolve, it would help the Jamaican superstar.

#2 Randy Orton could represent SmackDown

Smack-Down won't be a good idea
Smack-Down won't be a good idea

SmackDown is switching broadcast partners from the USA Network to Fox. With this shift comes the opportunity to revive an already going storyline to a better level and who better at this than The Viper Randy Orton. Orton has already made the storyline personal, and if Kofi loses the title, he would come back with full force to regain it. It would allow The Legend Killer to create compelling storylines, and as a heel, Randy can excel at that.

He has been a part of various personal storylines in the past. As a heel champion, he would bring out the best out of Kofi Kingston, and The Jamaican Superstar's character will also become more relevant, as opposed to the point in the previous slide.

Randy is no stranger to some awe-inspiring storylines, and this would be another journey where he ensures that the fans are glued to the TV screens during the broadcast time.

#1 'The Fiend' Doesn't Forget

If there is one thing that every wrestling fan waits for every week, it is the 'Firefly Fun House' segments. The segments give us an insight into what to expect next from 'The Fiend.' This week, he had very specific inputs as the segment started with the Rambling Rabbit yelling Stranger Danger, which means that many strange and dangerous things await the WWE Universe and the superstars.

The biggest thing out of the promo was Bray saying 'Friends Forgive, but The Fiend never forgets.' If one remembers, Randy Orton burnt the Wyatt Family Compound, and if he becomes champion, The Fiend can return for retribution. This would be one of the most amazing rivalries because the two can put on a clinic between the ropes and on the mic. We know that the two are truly gifted performers, and one needs to see how they complement each other as this story builds in weeks to come.

The tweet from Randy Orton confirms that they have unfinished business, and they may fight somewhere down the line.
