Crown Jewel may be seen as one of the most entertaining trips to Saudi Arabia in recent memory, WWE pulled it out of the bag from start to finish and even allowed The Fiend to finally pick up the Universal Championship when he pinned Seth Rollins in the main event.

This is the first time a World Championship has changed hands in Saudi Arabia since Brock Lesnar won the vacated Championship last year when he defeated Braun Strowman.

Tyson Fury had a fantastic debut and managed to defeat Braun Strowman via count-out, whilst Cain Velasquez finally fell foul to Brock Lesnar, who forced the former UFC star to tap to the Kimura lock.

The 24/7 Championship changed hands twice as R-Truth was able to pin Sunil Singh following the battle royal on the kickoff show, but Samir later pinned R-Truth to win back the title. Whilst there are many things that will make headlines from Crown Jewel, there are many others that some fans failed to notice.

#3 Byron Saxton returned to commentary

When SmackDown debuted on FOX and announced the WWE Draft, the commentary teams also changed since WWE decided to go with the two-man team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves on SmackDown and Dio Madden, Vic Joseph and Jerry Lawler on Raw. This meant that Byron Saxton would be taken off commentary after years of sitting behind the desk.

It was a harsh reality for both Saxton and Tom Phillips who lost their position as part of the shuffle, but for the main event match at Crown Jewel, Saxton returned to commentary.

Throughout the night, Saxton had been the backstage interviewer and was finally rewarded with a stint on commentary for the Universal Championship match, where he was able to call the impressive title change.

#2 The crowd were somewhat out of hand

The open-air arena in Saudi Arabia meant that WWE were able to bring back the use of pyro and give some WWE stars incredible entrances on the night.

Whilst there's a rule about water bottles being taken into arenas in most places around the world, this definitely wasn't the case in Saudi Arabia tonight, since it was noted that the crowd threw water bottles at talent during their entrances on a number of occasions.

Natalya and Ric Flair were the ones who were targetted by the crowd as they made their way to the ring for their matches, whilst Flair also had a cap thrown at him as he attempted to make it to the ring for the five-on-five match which was later won by Team Hogan.

It's a shock that anyone in the crowd has been able to get away with throwing objects at performers since many fans in the United States would have been escorted out of the arena if they were seen throwing anything into the places where the talent would have to walk.

#1 Security hand out titles now

Seth Rollins may be leaving Saudi Arabia without his Universal Championship, but it appears that the little girl in the crowd will be leaving with hers.

It was interesting that there was someone at ringside sporting a Universal Championship belt, but it became much clearer as to why she had a belt when Seth Rollins' entrance is slowed down since security can actually be seen handing her the title and telling her to hold it up.

Rollins and Bray Wyatt had one of the matches of the night as they battled under the red lighting once again and The Fiend was able to come out on top and lift his first Championship under his new guise.

The fact that The Fiend now holds the Universal Championship means that there is now no Championship on Monday Night Raw since Lesnar won his match against Cain Velasquez and retained the WWE Championship.

Both Lesnar and Wyatt were drafted to SmackDown as part of the draft a few weeks ago, so it will be interesting to see what position this leaves Monday Night Raw in now that they have no title for the first time since 2016.
