The WWE Draft 2021 begins in less than a week, with the entire roster being put on the deck for either RAW or SmackDown to pick up.

While a lot of superstars will likely remain on their current brand, both shows are expected to acquire many new faces. This freshening up of WWE's roster is required.

Among the superstars moving brands, we can expect a few tag teams to split up in the process. Last year, multiple tandems ended their association through the WWE Draft. Heavy Machinery and The New Day were prime examples, although the latter is now back together.

The same thing can happen, with a few teams breaking up during the WWE Draft 2021. Some teams have run their course, while others seem unthinkable as separate acts.

Here are five tag teams that could be split up by the WWE Draft 2021.

#5 Could Rey and Dominik Mysterio be split up by the WWE Draft 2021?

At first glance, the company splitting up Rey and Dominik Mysterio seems unfathomable. But it could be a way to progress their ongoing story on SmackDown. Dominik's singles career has barely gotten going and has cited his father as the reason behind his recent losses to Sami Zayn.

The young star could get drafted to RAW during the WWE Draft 2021, following which he gets the shock of losing his mentor. Alternatively, a move to the Red brand for Dominik Mysterio might even lead to a heel turn.

The father-son duo can then face off in a RAW vs. SmackDown match at Survivor Series, leading to Rey Mysterio's ultimate retirement.

#4 Is it time for T-Bar and Mace to go their separate ways?

The team of T-Bar and Mace is simply residual from one of the worst factions in the company's history - RETRIBUTION. Both superstars could do well, but their current names and gimmicks have kept them saddled.

The two powerhouses may get separated during the WWE Draft 2021, leading to a fresh start for both men. Dominik Dijakovic is a fantastic wrestler, but nobody can take him seriously with a name like T-Bar. A move away from Mace would do his career the world of good.

The former NXT star could be one of the biggest success stories of the WWE Draft 2021.

#3 Has Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode's alliance run its course?

Heading into the WWE Draft 2021, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode may have never been colder. The former SmackDown Tag Team Champions have not done anything truly meaningful since losing their titles to The Mysterios at WrestleMania Backlash.

The Dirty Dawgs may be a solid mid-card duo, but it might be time for Ziggler and Roode to go their separate ways. It wouldn't be the worst idea for RAW and SmackDown to get one of them each, considering how handy their experience could be.

#2 Will the WWE Draft 2021 spell the end of The Street Profits?

The Street Profits are one of the most accomplished tag teams in recent WWE history and it seems like they have more to give as a tandem. However, looking at Montez Ford's potential as a singles star, it seems like their days together are numbered.

SmackDown this week may have been an audition of sorts for Ford, ahead of the WWE Draft 2021. He had an impressive outing against Roman Reigns in the main event of the show - something that might be acted upon as soon as next week.

If The Street Profits don't win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from The Usos at Extreme Rules, Angelo Dawkins is at risk of losing his tag team partner in the WWE Draft 2021.

#1 Will AJ Styles and Omos break up through the WWE Draft 2021?

Possibly the likeliest tag team that could be split up by the WWE Draft 2021, AJ Styles and Omos have had a solid run together. The two have remained among the highlights of RAW since their partnership began a year ago.

Initially serving as Styles' bodyguard, Omos would make his WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37. He single-handedly demolished The New Day to win the RAW Tag Team Championship alongside The Phenomenal One. Since then, the 7-foot-3-inch tall giant has improved in the ring.

However, is Omos at a point where he can do well completely on his own? Whether or not that is the case, AJ Styles might move away from him during the WWE Draft 2021. The Nigerian can partner up with somebody else.

Styles seems like he has one final babyface run left in him, which makes him a good fit for SmackDown as long as he is okay with being on the same brand as Paul Heyman. Should either AJ Styles or Omos move to the Blue brand, things can work out just fine.
