WWE Extreme Rules 2019 will be taking place one week from Sunday on July 14, 2019. It will feature competitors from Monday Night RAW, SmackDown Live, and 205 Live. It will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the Wells Fargo Event.

There are a few no-disqualification matches and title matches that have already been confirmed. Superstars such as Kofi Kingston, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Roman Reigns, and the Undertaker are confirmed to appear on the PPV.

The match card currently includes Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship, Drew Gulak vs. Tony Nese for the Cruiserweight Championship, Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. Heavy Machinery vs. New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Kofi Kingston vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship, Roman Reigns and the Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred tag team match, and Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs. Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a Last Chance Extreme Rules Winners Take All match.

#1 Bobby Lashley vs. Braun Strowman (Last Man Standing Match)

Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman had a falls count anywhere match.

Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman have been feuding with each other since a match between the two behemoths was announced for Super Showdown.

The Monster Among Men has gotten the best of The All Mighty every single time they have faced off in the ring.

Braun Strowman defeated Bobby Lashley at Super Showdown, in an arm wrestling contest, and in a tug of war contest.

The two Superstars recently faced off in a Falls Count Anywhere match to kick off Monday Night RAW this week.

This was an enjoyable brawl that involved several insane spots. The most extreme spot of the match was when Braun Strowman drove Bobby Lashley through the stage with a shoulder tackle which caused the match to end in a no contest.

This rivalry clearly is not over. In order to make sure that this rivalry has a definitive conclusion, there should be a Last Man Standing Match to end the rivalry.

#2 The Revival (c) vs. The Usos (Tornado Tag Team Match for the RAW Tag Team Championships)

The Revival and the Usos have had numerous matches with each other.
The Revival and the Usos have had numerous matches with each other.

The Revival defeated Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder for the RAW Tag Team Championships by stealing a pin from The Usos in a Triple Threat tag team match.

Since then, The Usos got a victory over the Revival in a four-on-four elimination tag team match. This victory should earn them a RAW Tag Team Title match at the PPV.

These two Superstars have had really good matches with each other so far. On an episode of Monday Night RAW a few months ago, The Revival defeated The Usos in the Match of the night.

At the Kickoff Show of Super Showdown, The Usos defeat The Revival in the condensed version of what could be a great match.

The two tag teams should have one last match with each other before their feud ends (or other teams are added to the feud). That match should be a Tornado Tag Team match that could be an excellent, high-action matchup.

#3 Finn Balor (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental Championship)

Finn Balor has been directionless since he defeated Andrade for the Intercontinental Championship at Super Showdown. He recently had an interview on SmackDown Live that was interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura.

The King Of Strong Style expressed interest in challenging Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship.

These two Superstars have been competing in a few pretty good dark matches after SmackDown Live, so it is logical for this feud to take place on WWE TV.

These two Superstars had one of the best WWE matches of 2016 on an episode of NXT in which the whole event was based on their match with each other.

If the two Superstars are given a similar opportunity at Extreme Rules, they can steal the show in a match that demonstrates just how great both superstars are.

#4 AJ Styles (c) vs. Ricochet (Ladder Match for the United States Championship)

AJ Styles and Ricochet have faced off in the main event of Monday Night Raw twice now.
AJ Styles and Ricochet have faced off in the main event of Monday Night Raw twice now.

AJ Styles defeated Ricochet in a non-title match on the episode of Monday Night RAW after Stomping Grounds. He then earned a United States Title shot and took advantage of that opportunity in the main event on this week's RAW.

Although he previously thought that he won the match when he hit the Phenomenal Forearm, the bout was restarted when it was revealed that Ricochet's foot was under the bottom rope. Ricochet would then get the victory with a roll up.

The Phenomenal One would then shockingly turn heel and attack Ricochet after the match. He would later call Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson back into the ring to beat Ricochet up some more.

This brutal beatdown would end with Ricochet being hit with an Avalanche Styles Clash by AJ Styles. This rivalry is not over, and these two Superstars will likely face off in a stipulation match at Extreme Rules.

#5 Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens (Extreme Rules Match)

Kevin Owens seemingly underwent a face turn on SmackDown Live.
Kevin Owens seemingly underwent a face turn on SmackDown Live.

Shane McMahon forced Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens to team up with each other at the end of an episode of the Kevin Owens Show on this week's episode of SmackDown Live.

The two Superstars would team together against Heavy Machinery in the main event of SmackDown Live.

Heavy Machinery got the victory, and another opportunity at the SmackDown Tag Team Titles after Dolph Ziggler accidentally hit Kevin Owens with a Superkick. Dolph Ziggler was then hit with a Stunner by Kevin Owens after the match.

Given the fact that Kevin Owens seemingly underwent a face turn as he stood up to top heels in Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown Live.

He should start his run as a face with a match against Dolph Ziggler. The two Superstars have fought in reverse roles, and it is time for them to get the chance to face each other with their respective new roles.

#6 Aleister Black vs. Randy Orton

Aleister Black challenged someone to face him at Extreme Rules

For weeks, Aleister Black has been delivering promos on SmackDown Live in which he asks for someone to pick a fight with him. Until recently, no one would accept his challenge and knock on his door.

This was until last week when at the end of Aleister Black's promo, someone knocked on his door. It was revealed this week that the person who knocked on his door disappeared as soon as he answered it.

Black challenged the person who knocked at his door to face him at Extreme Rules. Many Superstars could answer this challenge including Cesaro, Buddy Murphy, and the most likely option Randy Orton.

Aleister Black and The Viper have done a lot of work with each other on Live Events. He will likely put Aleister Black over thanks to his status as a legend.
