The Game is one of the greatest of all time and has done everything there is to be done in the WWE. Fans worldwide have adored the Cerebral Assassin for his contributions to this magnificent company and will hope to see to Triple H in the ring for years to come.

Triple H will rekindle his rivalry with the Animal at the grandest stage of them all as the two will look to replicate the success they had back in 2005.

Talking about Triple H and his list of rivalries, there have been many greats to have feuded with the game. While many impressed, there were certainly a few who couldn't develop the right chemistry with the 14-time World Champion.

Here we list 4 underwhelming rivalries of 'The Game' Triple H.

#4 Great friends but not so great rivalry

Triple H and Kevin Nash - when their friendship turned bitter
Triple H and Kevin Nash - when their friendship turned bitter

It was back in 2003 when the returning Kevin Nash got into a heated feud with The Game, Triple H. Nash came back after quite some time and had a mission in his head to get his two friends - Triple H and Shawn Michaels on the same page.

The Heart Break Kid brawled with Triple H all over the arena prior to Nash's return and looked set to wreak more havoc in the weeks to come.

Nash's efforts to calm things down between his two friends went in vain as the then World Heavyweight Champion somehow managed to infuriate Nash with the power of his words, and thus we had the seeds planted for a future showdown.

While the friendship card played tremendously in the case of Shawn Michaels and Triple H, things weren't smooth between The Game and Kevin Nash.

The two clashed on numerous PPVs for the World Heavyweight Championship, but to the displeasure of the WWE Universe, the feud lacked any X-factor whatsoever!

Over the years Triple H has had some iconic rivalries which are embedded in the memory of WWE enthusiasts, but his feud with Nash didn't turn out to be ideally impressive!

#3 Once upon a time, the King of Kings entered an unfamiliar yard!

The Game has put over numerous men in his glorious career and it's his ability to help those around him prosper that makes him truly a legend of sports entertainment.

In 2014, Triple H battled Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE Championship. It was possibly the biggest match of Reigns' career as he was about to headline the showcase of immortals alongside the King of Kings.

Up until that point, the two had built up a decent storyline together and a lot was expected of their clash at Mania. But things didn't turn out to be great as the two men delivered a sort of lackluster performance.

Over the years, The Game has battled all 3 superstars of The Shield and it is fair to say that his feud with Roman turned out to be the least impressive one!

#2 Bodybuilding, arm-wrestling, and more... but no chemistry!

Triple H and Scott Steiner had an eventful rivalry, as the two often delivered exciting promos together, which included arm-wrestling, bodybuilding, and more.

They took shots at each other and the WWE Universe did anticipate their match at Royal Rumble 2003 to be a classic, only to find out later that it wasn't!

The Game and Steiner had no sort of chemistry between them and did disappoint the ardent WWE followers big time.

The fans worldwide were pretty excited early on when the seeds for this feud were planted simply because the two possessed such great physiques, great auras, and had formidable pasts as well.

The excitement didn't last for long as the two never got off to a great start and what was thought to be an epic feud turned out to be a mere disappointment.

#1 The time when Triple H became 'NEXT' on Goldberg's hitlist

Goldberg was a dominant character who unleashed his wrath on quite too many people in the WWE. The Myth was often involved in brutal rivalries, and one such time was when he collided with the King of Kings.

Back in the early part of the 21st century, Goldberg was taking giant steps in the WWE as he literally speared his way to the top and his sights were set on one prize - The World Heavyweight Championship.

The championship was the top prize in the company and was being held by possibly the biggest star of that time, Triple H.

The Game became NEXT target on Goldberg's Radar and the WWE Universe got pretty excited to witness this tantalizing rivalry.

As much as the hype was, things never really got spectacular in their brief feud.
