The backstory

When one thinks of the most dominant and intimidating Superstars in the history of professional wrestling, Brock Lesnar's name is bound to make the list.

The behemoth debuted in WWE back in 2002, and immediately became one of the hottest Superstars in the industry. Brock won the Royal Rumble match as well as the main event of WrestleMania, all in his rookie year. After his exit from WWE in 2004, he tried his hand in NFL, but failed to make an impact. Lesnar turned his sights on Japan, and wrestled for NJPW, where he battled against the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Akebono.

Lesnar went on to become a major UFC draw, which helped him earn a lucrative contract with WWE in 2012.

After the show

Brock Lesnar's second run with WWE saw him take on some of the biggest Superstars of this generation. He also resumed his rivalry with The Undertaker, leading to Lesnar breaking The Deadman's undefeated WrestleMania streak.

The following video shows Brock Lesnar addressing the crowd after an episode of Monday Night Raw went off the air. The episode seems to be the go home show of Raw, days before the Summerslam 2015 event, where Brock met The Undertaker again. Here's what Brock said to the fans that night:

I don't know what else to say, but thank you very much, and come this Sunday, at Summerslam, Undertaker, it will be your last ride to... where we gonna go? Suplex City!

The aftermath

At Summerslam 2015, The Undertaker managed to defeat The Beast in a controversial ending. 4 years on from that day and The Phenom continues to make sporadic appearances for WWE, while Brock Lesnar is currently Mr. Money In The Bank, after he won the briefcase in shocking fashion last month.
