A total of eight matches took place in the live show with the SmackDown Tag Championship, the SmackDown Women's Championship and the Intercontinental Championship getting defended. In this article, we will take a look at all the eight matches that were on the card.

#1 The New Day(c) vs The Revival vs Erick Rowan & Luke Harper [WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match]

The New Day's Xavier Woods seriously injured his Achilles Tendon in a live event show at Sydney on October 21 and was deemed medically unfit by WWE doctors to compete. Although there is no word as to when Woods will return, his New Day brethren Kofi Kingston and Big E became seven-time tag team champions when they defeated The Revival on the November 8 episode of SmackDown.

The newly crowned SmackDown tag team champions put their titles on the line against former champions The Revival and Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a 3-way tag team match. The New Day successfully retained their titles by pinning Harper.

#4 Ali vs Shinsuke Nakamura(c) (with Sami Zayn) [WWE Intercontinental Championship match]

Ali continued his feud with the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and faced him in an Intercontinental title match. The match was good and it looked like Ali was going to get one over the King of Strong Style but interference from Nakamura's mouthpiece allowed Ali to pick a disqualification victory but as we all know, the title does not change hands in a DQ victory.

Daniel Bryan then came out to even things out and it set up the next match.

Result: Ali defeated Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ

#5 Daniel Bryan & Ali vs Shinsuke Nakamura(c) and Sami Zayn

Daniel Bryan teamed up with Ali to take on the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn. After some solid fast-paced action, Bryan picked up the win for his team when he pinned Zayn.

Sami Zayn has been advising Bryan to join Nakamura for the past few weeks on SmackDown and he was laid out by 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt on the last episode of the blue brand. It remains to be seen who the next rival for 'The New' Daniel Bryan will be.
