As part of their on-going series of Live Events, WWE headed to Winnipeg, Canada this week for yet another exciting house show featuring several stars from the blue brand of SmackDown Live.

Despite the omission of WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan and SmackDown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch from the card, the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Charlotte Flair, and The Bar definitely did manage to put up an outstanding show on the night.

Below are the results from WWE's recent Live Event in Winnipeg, Canada:

#1. The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus) vs The New Day- SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships

Ahead of their clash against The New Day and The Usos at TLC, the team of Sheamus and Cesaro gave us a little preview of things to expect come TLC, as the current SmackDown Live Tag Champs were on course to defend their straps against long-term rivals The New Day.

New Day, as usual, got a pretty strong babyface reaction and the opposite applied for The Bar, who successfully went on to beat the New Day to retain the tag titles.

Result: The Bar defeated The New Day

#2. Charlotte Flair vs Asuka

Next up, we had a WrestleMania 33 rematch between Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Considered as two of SmackDown Live's top talents right now (alongside Women's Champion, Becky Lynch, of course), Asuka and Flair will challenge for Lynch's SmackDown Women's Title on Sunday at TLC.

However, prior to their historic match at TLC, Flair and Asuka gave us a little preview of things to come. Charlotte Flair got a good reaction on the night and used the momentum to defeat Asuka.

Following the match, Flair talked about regaining the Women's Title at TLC and then hugged it out with Asuka. The two will meet in another highly awaited rematch this week on SmackDown.

Result: Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka

#3. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs The Colons

You may not see them much of television but as it remains, The Good Brothers are still one of the well-liked WWE tag teams right now, considering the amount of Marty Scurll's "Too Sweet Whoop Whoop" chants they received from the Winnipeg crowd last night.

The Colons, meanwhile, didn't get any sort of reaction and were easily defeated by Anderson and Gallows via The Magic Killer.

Result: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated The Colons

#4. Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe

Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe recently rekindled their feud on SmackDown Live and last night in Canada, the former WWE US Champion came out and challenged Joe to a singles match. The two men brawled for a while before the start, as Hardy got a huge reaction both before and after his win.

Joe eventually tried to splash Canadian beer down Hardy's throat but the latter countered for a standing splash for the win.

Result: Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe

#5. Lana vs Peyton Royce

Some fans might think that Lana is severely underutilized on SmackDown Live, considering how little in-ring time she has been getting in recent months and is basically portraying the role of being Rusev's manager.

However, last night in Winnipeg, 'The Ravishing Russian', who came out to some solid 'Rusev Day' chants, first managed to defeat Peyton Royce of the IIconics, via a roll-up pin. The IIconics, who had already thrashed the crowd of Canada, then laid out another challenge to Lana, as Billie Kay stepped up to the plate this time.

Result: Lana defeated Peyton Royce

#6. Lana vs Billie Kay

We immediately get another match featuring Lana and the other half of The IIconic's and this match, ended as quickly as possible. Lana quickly rolled up Billie Kay for yet another pinfall victory and to conclude it all, the former got a huge reaction from the crowd for her two back-to-back wins.

Result: Lana defeated Billie Kay

#7. Rusev vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Rusev and Nakamura have recently ignited a feud on SmackDown Live and it looks like 'The Artist' is likely to defend his crown of Nakamerica and the US Title against Rusev at some point down the line.

However, last night in Winnipeg, Nakamura was on course to a huge babyface reaction from the Canadian crowd but the fans eventually turned their backs on him when he hit Rusev with a low-blow for the disqualification, handing the latter the win.

Result: Rusev defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ

#8. AJ Styles vs The Miz

With the absence of Daniel Bryan, former WWE Champion, AJ Styles faced The Miz in singles action. As per The Observer, The Miz apparently got the loudest reaction of the night and was on absolute fire in terms of heel heat.

Styles also got a huge face reaction and used it to his advantage in order to hit the Phenomenal Forearm after a back-and-forth match for the win.

Result: AJ Styles defeated The Miz
