The field is set for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Eight stars will have the opportunity to climb the ladder of success and virtually guarantee a future world title victory, but how will each of them do it?

The chances of winning for each participant will naturally vary. And while an unpredictable affair, a few names are likelier to win the match than others. This may come down to how compelling each one of them is with the Money in the Bank briefcase when it comes to the different ways they can cash it in.

Likelihood of victory notwithstanding, let's take a look at each superstar in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and predict how they will cash in the briefcase if they win on Sunday.

#8 Seth Rollins: Money in the Bank cash-in during a Roman Reigns Universal Title match

The only former Money in the Bank winner in this match, Seth Rollins will always have a chance of coming away with the briefcase. A win on Sunday would further elevate his stock heading into his likely match against Edge at SummerSlam.

Rollins' eventual cash-in could very well be a repeat of his first, where he inserted himself in a Roman Reigns-Brock Lesnar WWE Championship match and escaped with the belt. It would be a fantastic callback and be the perfect start to a feud between the former Shield brothers.

It may not happen because the next Universal Champion should be a popular babyface, but it is an interesting prospect. Reigns does not even need to get pinned to lose the title in this scenario, while Seth Rollins gets a major boost.

#7 Riddle: When Bobby Lashley is vulnerable after a WWE Title match

Speaking of Seth Rollins, he will be accompanied in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match by Riddle. The two have had their differences, but are now evidently open to working together. Anyway, The King of Bros is an outside choice to win the briefcase.

Riddle could cash it in after ending his storyline with Randy Orton, with Bobby Lashley being a possible target. The All Mighty WWE Champion was a massive thorn in his side earlier this year, tormenting him at will.

While the former UFC fighter got the last laugh by winning the United States Championship from Lashley, he may go one better and take the world title from him with the help of the Money in the Bank briefcase.

#6 King Nakamura: After a distraction from Rick Boogs

Now, we get to a few Money in the Bank competitors who have next to no chance of winning the ladder match. Shinsuke Nakamura is an interesting addition to the contest, with an unlikely briefcase win setting up big things for him and Rick Boogs.

The newly-crowned King of SmackDown would benefit from Boogs distracting the Universal Champion with his electric guitar, whether it is Roman Reigns or somebody else. However, Nakamura probably won't win on Sunday.

#5 John Morrison: After he and The Miz assault the WWE Champion

John Morrison and Ricochet were both added to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, possibly just so the returning WWE fans would bear witness to some incredible high spots. The two of them are yet to disappoint on that front, but likely won't come close to winning.

Morrison was in close vicinity of the Money in the Bank briefcase earlier this year, thanks to his partnership with The Miz. If he is to win it this year, a successful cash-in does not seem likely. However, a vicious assault on a babyface WWE Champion (Maybe Kofi Kingston?) could do the trick for John Morrison.

#4 Ricochet: Money in the Bank cash-in on Bobby Lashley after somebody else leaves him laying

As mentioned earlier, Ricochet's primary purpose in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is to wow the WWE fans with some insane high spots. He is also unlikely to win but does have a higher chance of doing so than either John Morrison or Shinsuke Nakamura.

If Ricochet wins the briefcase, his cash-in might involve some help from an outside source. Somebody like Drew McIntyre could attack Bobby Lashley, in a role reversal of The Miz's cash-in. This would give Ricochet an opening to become the WWE Champion, mirroring CM Punk's Money in the Bank cash-in from 2008.

#3 Kevin Owens: Pre-announced Money in the Bank cash-in against Roman Reigns

Now, onto the three favorites to win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

We start with Kevin Owens, who has previously had some stellar performances in this match. He sacrificed his body in every one of them and for that alone, deserves an opportunity as Mr. Money in the Bank. Anyway, KO would be a fantastic winner.

For starters, it would instantly give him direction on SmackDown. Also, it opens up multiple possibilities. While Owens could use the briefcase to turn heel, WWE has set up a story for him to become a two-time Universal Champion as a babyface.

Kevin Owens was probably Roman Reigns' toughest rival during his run as Universal Champion. Since the end of their feud, he has constantly warned Paul Heyman on Talking Smack that he will win the Money in the Bank briefcase and immediately target The Tribal Chief once again.

It would be a special piece of long-term booking to see KO be the one to dethrone Reigns. He could take a major risk and cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase ahead of time, with the caveat that The Usos cannot interfere. Imagine the pop if Kevin Owens successfully manages to defeat Roman Reigns.

#2 Big E: Pre-announced Money in the Bank cash-in against Bobby Lashley

Big E has mentioned that he would rather use the Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns, but WWE might have other plans. A compelling story can be told between the New Day member and Bobby Lashley, particularly since the WWE Champion will be facing Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank.

Lashley could destroy Kingston on Sunday, potentially embarrassing him in the process. And while The All Mighty seems to have his hands full at SummerSlam, Big E can play the waiting game with him.

The former Intercontinental Champion could move to RAW during the WWE Draft, but that wouldn't even be needed if he has the Money in the Bank briefcase. Big E can use it to challenge Bobby Lashley on behalf of his fallen brother, doing so in the valiant way of announcing his cash-in.

The star-making aspect of Money in the Bank is perfect for him, even if his execution would differ from the usual use of the briefcase. Big E could be WWE's next big babyface megastar, with a WWE Title victory over Lashley potentially doing wonders for him.

#1 Drew McIntyre: Money in the Bank cash-in immediately after costing Bobby Lashley the WWE Championship

It would seem like a waste to put the Money in the Bank briefcase on two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, right?

Well, it does lend some intriguing possibilities. While he could very well announce his cash-in beforehand, McIntyre's current situation in WWE calls for a more creative way for him to win back the gold.

After losing to him at Hell in a Cell, The Scottish Warrior is not allowed to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship anymore. He has free reign to move to SmackDown and go after Roman Reigns and the Universal Championship, but that is a longer-term story waiting to be told.

McIntyre could use his wits to regain the WWE Title via a Money in the Bank cash-in. He can cost Bobby Lashley a title match a few months down the line. After that, with Lashley's reign over, the Scotsman would immediately attack the new WWE Champion and cash in his briefcase.

This would help Drew McIntyre rediscover some of the edge his character has lost recently, while he comes across as a genius. It would be a great vehicle for a heel turn too, depending on who he beats for the title.
