NXT TakeOver XXV was a great show!

What's the Story?

Tonight, WWE delivered the 25th edition of the highly successful TakeOver PPVs of NXT, NXT TakeOver XXV. Much like the previous ones, this one was also a huge success and a great show.

In what was a surprising moment, an AEW Superstar who also won her match at AEW's first event Double or Nothing was in attendance at tonight's NXT TakeOver XXV.

In case you didn't know...

The pro-wrestling world has been lit up ever since the emergence of the new promotion All Elite Wrestling. After the massive success of their first event Double or Nothing last week in Los Vegas, many are considering the promotion to be a huge threat to pro-wrestling giant, WWE.

While we were all comparing RAW and SmackDown with AEW's Double or Nothing, tonight's NXT TakeOver was the actual answer to DoN as Triple H and his NXT roster proved that they are on par with, if not better than the rivals. From start to finish, the show was filled with exciting matchups, great in-ring quality, massive surprises and a lot more.

The heart of the matter

One big appearance that many might have missed on the show was that of AEW Superstar Britt Baker, who was in attendance at tonight's show. She was shown on camera briefly behind Stephanie McMahon. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted the following in which Britt can be seen giving a rather "bossy" look to Stephanie McMahon.

For your knowledge, Britt Baker is the girlfriend of NXT Superstar Adam Cole, who became the new NXT Champion at tonight's TakeOver by defeating Johnny Gargano in the main event. She tweeted the following after Cole's victory tonight calling him her favorite wrestler.

Britt Baker is an integral part of AEW's women's division. She competed in a fatal four-way match at Double or Nothing against Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae, and Awesome Kong, and came out victorious.

What's next?

With Adam Cole's unexpected championship victory at TakeOver tonight, it would be interesting to see who will challenge him now for the title. As for Johnny Gargano, he might soon be moving full time to the main roster. Britt Baker, on the other hand, would continue to take AEW's women's division to new heights.

If WWE keeps on producing shows like NXT TakeOver XXV, the war between them and AEW would be an amazing treat for the fans.
