WWE News: Bobby Lashley gives honest opinion on his storyline with Lana

One of the most talked-about storylines in WWE right now involves the relationship between Bobby Lashley and Rusev’s wife, Lana.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Lashley said he is enjoying the weekly developments between their characters and he is looking forward to eventually having a one-on-one match with Rusev.

“That [the Rusev aspect] is the beauty of this story. I liked Rusev before. I don’t know how he’s going to react. I know he killed Randy [Orton] and Baron [Corbin] the other day, but they’re not me. I’m really interested to see how this is going to unfold.”

Sam Roberts mentioned during the interview that WWE took a bold approach by showing Lashley and Lana in bed together in the opening segment on RAW last week.

The former Intercontinental Champion revealed that Lana has been enthusiastic about trying to shock fans as much as possible since their storyline romance began with a kiss in front of Rusev on the September 30 episode of RAW.

“I think Lana is saying ‘go for it’ more than I’m saying ‘go for it’! I was trying to tow the line a little bit, but Lana was like, ‘There’s no line. Let’s go straight to the top.’ There’s big things with that. If you want to be something in this business, you have to be talked about.”

What happened between Bobby Lashley and Lana this week?

After their on-stage kiss and bedroom segment, WWE followed up on the storyline this week by showing Lana making suggestive comments whilst receiving a massage from a masseuse, who was then replaced by Bobby Lashley.

Moving forward, Lashley has been confirmed as one of the participants in the five-on-five tag team match between Team Ric Flair and Team Hulk Hogan at Crown Jewel on October 31.

“The Dominator” will be part of Team Flair, while Rusev will represent Team Hogan.
