WWE News: CM Punk has a very good reason for not doing a Reddit AMA
CM Punk's answer to a Twitter question was so funny, Batista had to get new pants.
What’s the story?
To paraphrase an old saying, “you can take the man out of pro wrestling, but you can’t take the pro wrestling out of the man.” In response to a fan asking him why he hasn’t done an AMA (aka “Ask Me Anything”) on the popular website, Reddit.com, the former WWE Champion had a hilarious – and somewhat profane – response.
A response that involved – and cracked up – his former WWE colleague and Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 star Dave Bautista.
For those of you not familiar with it, Reddit.com has a series of threads called AMAs, where people of all walks of life (actors, athletes, scientists, and other public figures/people of interest) answer questions from Reddit users (for example, Jim Cornette answered this reporter’s question in a recent AMA).
Naturally, fans have been wanting to be able to ask Punk “anything” for a while now. And, so far, he’s ignored such calls.
Also, there has been a running joke among the online wrestling community about the size of Batista’s genitals. On YouShoot interviews, wrestlers are always asked by a “fan” named Sinbad how big Batista’s private parts are. As a result, the question “How big is Batista’s d*ck?” has become a long-time running joke which has yet to be answered.
The heart of the matter
Well, instead of dodging the issue any further, the 0-1 record UFC fighter Punk decided to finally answer why he hasn’t done an AMA yet.
If you thought that was hilarious, wait until you see what Batista himself thought of it (warning: the following is also pretty crude):
As of now, it seems like we will have to wait a while to see Punk return to the squared circle. For now, we wish him the best of luck as he pursues MMA.
As funny as that was, we all know CM Punk’s real answer to is that he doesn’t want to and that’s totally fine. I wish he would, as that would be awesome, but he doesn’t owe anything to me or anyone else – no matter how much we on the Internet love to say we bought his house (we didn’t buy his house, you guys).
