What's the story?

A very special edition of WWE Raw will take place in just a few hours from New York City. Thanks to Cageside Seats, this article contains the full listing of special guests for Raw 25 tonight.

In case you didn't know...

The first episode of Monday Night Raw took place on January 11, 1993, from the Manhattan Center in New York City.

The show was highlighted by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan trying to get in the building, but was denied because the venue was "sold out to the ceiling". Heenan would try various costumes and disguises to get in, but to no avail.

The card on this first episode included some WWE Hall of Famers who will be on hand tonight in Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. Rumor has it that they will appear at both the Manhattan Center and Barclays Center tonight.

The heart of the matter

As expected, the guest list for Raw 25 is massive and includes greats from all moments of Monday Night Raw from 1993 to 2018. The list below contains those who have previously been announced by the WWE or the people themselves on social media, but the WWE may have a couple surprises in store as well.

-- Stone Cold Steve Austin

-- The Undertaker

-- Chris Jericho

-- D-Generation X

-- Trish Stratus

With The Rock's Hollywood schedule, it is assumed that he will not be able to make Raw 25, but expect a taped message from The Great One as he was one of the biggest parts of the WWE during this time.

Some WWE Superstars like MVP haven't been on WWE television in some time. For MVP, it's been eight years since he was released from the WWE. During that time, he made a name for himself in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Impact Wrestling.

What's next?

With Raw hours away, stay tuned to Sportskeeda for the latest on this special evening. The evening will start with a Kickoff Show available on YouTube, WWE.com, Facebook, and the WWE Network starting an hour before Raw goes live.

Author's take

I am excited about tonight. There is the expectation that this is going to be a bigger night than the Raw after WrestleMania, and that is definitely saying something.

I think it'll be a night full of great nostalgia and probably a few shocking surprises. It will truly be a night to remember.
