WWE News: DJ Peter Rosenberg to appear on TLC pre-show

The TLC pay-per-view promises to be an exciting one

The SmackDown Live exclusive pay-per-view is scheduled to take place tomorrow night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. As confirmed by WWE.com, the event will be preceded by a pre-show named TLC Kickoff featuring Renee Young, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and some special guests, one of them being well-known radio DJ Peter Rosenberg.

Rosenberg, who is based in New York, hosts a number of radio shows including Hot 97’s ‘The Hot 97 Morning Show’ and ‘Real Late with Rosenberg’. He is known to be a major pro-wrestling enthusiast and has been a guest commentator for both TNA and Ring of Honor.

Apart from that, the popular radio DJ has also hosted a YouTube series named Wrestling with Rosenberg on which he has interviewed the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley among others. In 2015, Rosenberg made an appearance on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast as well.

The appearance at TLC will be Peter Rosenberg’s debut on WWE television and he could not help but share his excitement with fans on Instagram.

“Not gonna get all emo but I am so excited to tell the people who feel any sort of real connection with me (in real life or through headphones) that I am making my debut on @wwe television this Sunday as part of the TLC pre-show on the @wwenetwork …,” he mentioned in his post.

“I have been working on and dreaming about this for almost a decade and who knows what happens down the road but I am so excited to be a part of the show this Sunday ... thank you to a million awesome people including@reneeyoungwwe who I will be working with and learning from Sunday! Ok I'm done now sorry!” added Rosenberg.

Moving on to the action inside the squared circle, all eyes will be on the main event – a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE World Championship between champion AJ Styles and No. 1 contender to his title, Dean Ambrose.

The rivalry between Styles and Ambrose has been going on for a few months and reached the boiling point when ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ attacked ‘The Phenomenal One’ before SmackDown Live went off the air this week.

The addition of the newest superstar on the blue brand’s roster, James Ellsworth, into the mix over the past few weeks has made the Styles-Ambrose feud all the more exciting and it will be interesting to see what role he will play at TLC.
