What’s the story?
In a Monday Night Raw that saw several shifts from the blue brand to Raw, in what was probably the most shocking appearance of the night - Drew McIntyre made his return to the main roster.
More interestingly, though, the former NXT Champion's return came as he seemingly aligned with new Raw signing Dolph Ziggler to destroy Titus Worldwide.
In case you didn’t know…
While Drew McIntyre is no stranger to the WWE Universe, it's been quite a while since we've seen him on Raw or SmackDown.
In fact, after being released in 2014, the Ayr man went out and made his name everywhere but WWE and eventually found his way back in WWE last year - where he quickly won the NXT Championship.
Drew McIntyre was last seen on WWE TV in November when he suffered his first ever NXT loss, losing the Championship to Andrade “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver: WarGames - a match that saw the 31-year-old sidelined due to injury.
Since then, McIntyre has become a Hall of Famer, being honoured by Insane Championship Wrestling where McIntyre vowed to become the first ever British WWE Champion.
The heart of the matter
On tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, during the Superstar Shake-up, Dolph Ziggler made his return to the red brand. Upon his return, Titus Worldwide came to the ring and O'Neil tried to recruit the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Ziggler, though, had other plans - stating that he didn't come alone...
Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE, being called up to the main roster and forging an unlikely partnership with the former Mr Money In The Bank.
And even more impressively, the pair already have an incredibly impressive team finisher.
What’s next?
Well, given the number of movers and shakers in this Superstar Shake-up, it looks like the landscape of WWE has completely changed - and this is a pairing no-one saw coming.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out on Raw...

I thought McIntyre would be SmackDown bound, personally, but I love the fact that he's back on the main roster. Personally, I'd have loved to have seen McIntyre being a dominant force alone, but this segment was both shocking and incredible.
I can't wait to see where WWE goes with this one!
