'Woken' Matt Hardy has vowed to delete Bray Wyatt

What’s the story?

During the recent episode of Heated Conversations with Booker T, WWE superstar Matt hardy caught up with the WWE Hall of Famer in order to discuss his transition from “Broken Matt” to “Woken Matt” and his take on Sister Abigail.

In case you didn’t know…

On a November edition of Monday Night Raw, Matt Hardy suffered defeat at the hands of his rival Bray Wyatt and following his loss to “The Eater of Worlds” Matt Hardy sat in the corner of the ring and started yelling “delete” and initially indicated towards the beginning of his “Broken” gimmick in WWE. Within the next few weeks, Hardy officially declared himself as “Woken” and sentenced Bray Wyatt to deletion.

The heart of the matter

While speaking with Booker T, ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy claimed that prior to his return to the WWE he was indeed a ‘broken’ man, however, the power and the positive reaction from the WWE Universe upon Hardy’s return to the company diminished his broken condition to a rather softer tone.

"When I returned home to the WWE, I had such an amazing ovation at WrestleMania from the WWE Universe, it suppressed my issue. It went dormant for a while, but once I touched the black magic of Bray Wyatt, it awoken my white magic. Hence, I am 'Woken' Matt Hardy and now I am going stronger than ever before, growing stronger by the day."

Additionally, Hardy also opened up about his thoughts on Bray Wyatt’s mysterious mentor Sister Abigail. Hardy claimed that Abigail is actually older than him and is rather much stronger than Hardy and his ‘Woken’ presence.

"I must admit I have never told anyone this before, but Sister Abigail is older than my essence. My essence, it is known as Zenith. I have never divulged that information"

What’s next?

Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy have been feuding for a really long period of time and it looks like the two men are set to collide once again in the near future.

Author’s Take

I think it is about time WWE ends this long-stretched feud between Hardy and Wyatt and instead start a fresh and new storyline for both men.
