What's the story?
It has been confirmed that the first-ever NXT UK Takeover will take place on January 13th live from Blackpool, England.

In case you didn't know...
NXT UK has been quite a successful brand on the WWE Network over the past few weeks and it appears that WWE is looking to equalise on the attention that is focused on the United Kingdom at present.
The first-ever United Kingdom tournament was held in Blackpool back in 2017 which is why the city has been chosen as a host once again.
Back in 2015, WWE took the entire NXT brand over to London for the hotly successful NXT Takeover: London which saw Finn Balor and Samoa Joe headline in a fantastic NXT Championship match.
The heart of the matter
Ticket purchasing site Eventim is advertising an NXT UK show for January 13th, 2019 which is called NXT UK Takeover.
The show will be streamed on the anniversary of the first-ever United Kingdom Tournament that was so well received by the WWE Universe and also took place live from Blackpool's Empress Ballroom.
There is also a show listed for January 12th which is called NXT: Aftermath, but there is no information listed about this show, and it could easily have been a mistake addition to the site.
What's next?
NXT UK is an on-going series on the WWE Network and it appears that this will be a huge test for the brand as their first ever Takeover event, but wrestling has become huge in the United Kingdom ever since the crowning of Tyler Bate as the first-ever United Kingdom Champion almost two years ago.
