The WWE has announced that Paige's first opponent since her return will be Sasha Banks.
Paige has been out of action for far too long while she dealt with a neck injury coupled with a few other issues. But when she showed up at the WWE Performance Center and started training, fans knew it was only a matter of time before they saw the Anti-Diva return to the ring once more.
Paige's WWE return was teased several times but it all came full circle when she made her grand re-debut on Raw on the night after Survivor Series. But she didn't come alone.
After Paige's music broke out, everyone in the building popped for the returning former NXT and Diva's Champion. But Paige wanted to make an impact (no pun intended seeing how she popped up at a few events with Alberto El Patron during her recovery).
This is why Paige brought Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose along with her to enjoy the ride as well. This new stable has been named Absolution and they mean business. But there are also a few members of the Raw roster who would also like to welcome Paige and her friends to Raw.
One of those individuals happens to be The Boss herself and by the looks of things, Paige is going to have a pretty big fight on her hands. Now Sasha Banks will finally get a chance to avenge the beatdown she received at the trio's hand after she refused to join Absolution's ranks in what promises to be a pretty intense contest.
There's no telling how the rest of Absolution will be involved, but Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are sure to be hanging around somewhere while paying close attention to this contest.
Therefore, this match could turn into anything but a fair fight but only time will tell because if you know anything about Sasha Banks it's that she isn't one to back down from a challenge.
