What's the story?

This past week WWE announced that former Universal champion, Roman Reigns, was set to return to RAW this coming week, to make a major announcement. Reigns has been off television after he announced that he is battling Leukemia, late last year.

Now, Reigns' has dropped a big hint that The Big Dog could be back inside a WWE ring, wrestling.

In case you didn't know...

On the 22nd October episode of RAW, Reigns revealed that he had been diagnosed with leukemia, and relinquished his Universal title, which was later won once again by Brock Lesnar, when he defeated Braun Strowman.

Since then, Reigns has been responding well to treatment, as per various sources, while also acting in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw movie with The Rock, and also guest starring in Nickelodeon's ‘Cousins For Life’.

The heart of the matter

WWE and Vince McMahon announced that Reigns will be back to address the WWE Universe on RAW about the progress he's made, as well as what the future holds for him.

Personal trainer, David Gonyea, with whom Reigns has been training with at the Island Club and Spa in Waikiki, Hawaii, revealed that Reigns has been training at their facility to get back in shape for his in-ring return.

What's next?

We'll see The Big Dog back on RAW on this Monday, 25th February 2019. It is too soon to say if Reigns will get back in the ring after being diagnosed with leukemia just four months ago. One thing is for sure, he will get a huge pop when he comes out to the ring on Monday!
