What's the story?

On this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa would be making their main roster debuts. Aleister Black and Ricochet participated in four matches altogether on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. Next week on SmackDown Live, they will team together.

In case you didn't know...

Aleister Black and Ricochet have both been dominant since joining Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live against a variety of opponents, including Bobby Lashley, Lio Rush, Elias, Andrade 'Cien' Almas, and Eric Young.

On Monday Night Raw, Aleister Black interrupted Elias during one of his performances and defeated him via pinfall with the Black Mass. He would then defeat his old foe in Andrade 'Cien' Almas (the two feuded over the NXT Championship) on the latest episode of SmackDown Live via pinfall with the Black Mass once again.

Ricochet made his debut by saving Intercontinetal Champion Finn Balor from an attack from former Intercontinetal Champion Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. Ricochet would then successfully defeat Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush alongside Finn Balor when Ricochet won via pinfall with the 630 Senton. He then overcame the numbers game against SaNiTY, when he defeated Eric Young via pinfall with the 630 Senton once again.

The hear of the matter

Aleister Black and Ricochet will look to continue their dominance when they team up against the new duo of former United States champions Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura. Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura will be accompanied to the ring by the Ravishing Russian Lana, who will likely interfere in this matchup.

All four of these men competed in NXT at one point in their WWE careers.

What's next?

This will be a great match as all four of these men are great performers. It is interesting as three of these men (Rusev, Ricochet, and Shinsuke Nakamura) heavily rely on strikes and it will be interesting to see the contrasting styles. It is hard to predict who will win this match because Ricochet and Aleister Black both need momentum at this stage in their main roster careers, while Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev have only just become a team and need momentum as well.
