WWE News: WWE teasing AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania via YouTube

The Undertaker may return to teach AJ Styles a lesson

WWE recently posted a video on YouTube via their official channel, which contemplated the most suitable opponent for The Deadman, once he returns (probably) for the very last time. The video reignited the rumours of The Phenom vs. The Phenomenal One, and hinted at a Wrestlemania match between the two Superstars.

On 16th December, WWE posted a video on their Youtube page. The video clip listed five current opponents they would like to pit against The Deadman for a dream match.

The dream list included RAW enigma Braun Strowman, NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, “The Demon” Finn Balor, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens along with The Phenomenal One.

Interestingly so, AJ Styles was the only Superstar from the blue brand that made it on the dream list, which makes the match all the more likely to happen.

While Undertaker has not returned to WWE television, post a one-off appearance at SmackDown Live 900, a series of comments made by The Phenomenal One on the latest episode of SmackDown, subtly hints at the match coming up soon.

During this Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Styles joined The Miz and Maryse for a new edition of “MizTV."

During the light-hearted conversation, The Phenomenal One boasted of his in-ring achievements in the WWE; defeating top Superstars like John Cena and Dean Ambrose on various occasions and how there is nobody left for the Champ to beat. He continually insisted on the particular point, claiming that nobody else was on his level.

As per Inquisitr, Styles was taking a dig at The Undertaker and suggested that The Phenom might soon confront The Phenomenal One. The dream bout as per the source, would probably happen at WrestleMania next year, though Royal Rumble seems to be a more viable option.

Having the match at Royal Rumble would set up the stage for John Cena vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33 after Taker goes over Styles at Royal Rumble, emerging as the new WWE World Champion in the process.

It has been a while since the two legends (Cena and Taker) of the sport have crossed paths, and a meeting at the grandest stages of em’ all could very well be The Deadman’s final hurrah.
