Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams kicked off NXT 2.0 and the new North American Champion celebrated his win last week over "Swerve" Scott. He said that from this point on he was on the top of the ladder and was going to run things on NXT.

Johnny Gargano came out to interrupt them and congratulated the new champ. Gargano wondered what was next for him and challenged Carmelo to a match. Trick joked about Indi before Dexter Lumis showed up and attacked them from behind.

Melo and Trick fled the ring without the title belt and Lumis and Gargano stood in the ring, taunting them to come take it as we headed for commercials.


Odyssey Jones vs. Andre Chase on NXT 2.0

Prof. Chase was back again in his sweater to face Odyssey in the first match of the night. Jones tossed Chase around the ring as the match began but Andre managed to get some kicks in.

Chase went for a tackle but bounced off the big guy before Jones knocked him about some more and hit a huge powerslam. Jones hit a running splash and picked up the win.

Result: Odyssey Jones def. Andre Chase

The Creed Brothers vs. Imperium on NXT 2.0

Brutus and Aichner kicked off the match and Julius was tagged in early on with Imperium in control. Barthel hit a big suplex after tagging in before Roderick Strong ran interference from the outside, letting the Creed Brothers take control of the match.

Aichner got the tag and deadlifted Brutus for a rolling senton. Julius Creed tagged in and took a big move from Barthel before Ikemen Jiro and Kushida came out to attack Diamond Mine at ringside. Imperium took advantage of the distraction and Barthel picked up the win. This ended The Creed Brothers' winning streak on NXT 2.0

Result: Imperium def. The Creed Brothers

MSK attacked Imperium after the match on NXT 2.0 and wiped them out with double team moves before diving on top of them to the outside.


Von Wagner and Kyle O'Reilly were on a camping trip when Kyle realized that they could do some serious damage if they joined forces.


Joe Gacy cut a backstage promo about NXT 2.0 not being a safe space for him after all. He looked a little deranged, but then it turned out he was talking to Harland, whom Gacy called 'snowflake.'


Legado Del Fantasma was out next and called Carmelo a lucky s.o.b for taking the North American title last week. He said that Melo's luck was running out before we headed for the next match.


Elektra Lopez vs. Cora Jade on NXT 2.0

Lopez had control early on and knocked Jade around the ring before hitting a massive powerslam and then another.

Jade fought back with some chops, but Lopez hit back with kicks of her own before smashing her head in the corner.

Lopez was tossing Jade around the ring before Cora suddenly rolled her up for the win.

Io Shirai vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Persia Pirotta on NXT 2.0

Io Shirai was out next on NXT 2.0 with Jacy Jayne and Persia Pirotta for a Triple Threat Match to win the opportunity to spin the wheel for Halloween Havoc. Jacy slapped Io in the face before Pirotta took control with some big moves and hit a double suplex.

Shirai tossed Pirotta out of the ring before throwing Jace onto her and hitting a moonsault from the top rope. After a break on NXT 2.0, Pirotta hit a powerbomb on Shirai and picked up a near fall.

Shirai locked in a crossface on Pirotta before she lifted the tag team champ, but Shirai countered it into a suplex. Shirai got the moonsault to pick up the win.

Result: Io Shirai def. Jacy Jayne & Persia Pirotta

Shirai and Stark spun the wheel and it stopped on the Scareway to Hell Ladder Match.

Ikemen Jiro and Kushida were backstage on NXT 2.0, and they looked to be teaming up in their fight against Diamond Mine.


Tony D'Angelo vs. Ru Feng on NXT 2.0

D'Angelo was dominating early on in the match on NXT 2.0 but his opponent got some big kicks. Tony came back with a big suplex and hit his finisher for a hasty win as NXT 2.0 continued.

Result: Tony D'Angelo def. Ru Feng

After the match, Tony was in an in-ring interview and he was asked about the missing producer from last week. D'Angelo called the interviewer a snitch and handed her some money to 'forget about it.'

Briggs & Jensen vs. Legado del Fantasma on NXT 2.0

Jensen was seen lying on the floor backstage after an attack from LDF before the match began. Back after a break, Legado del Fantasma were out and the match started.

Jensen took a beating in the ring before Briggs was tagged in and Santos Escobar hit a cheap shot from the outside while the ref was distracted.

Legado was hot tagging in and out, isolating Briggs in their corner before Jesnen was came back in and took control of the match.

Jensen wiped out Escobar at ringside on NXT 2.0 before Legado hit their double team move on him in the ring for the win.

Result: Legado Del Fantasma def. Briggs & Jensen

Carmelo and Trick found a note that told them where to find the North American Title. Lumis invited Melo to an open house to come get his crown.


LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller on NXT 2.0

Waller was dominating the match early on before Knight came back with some big strikes and hit him with a big dive over the ropes from the apron.

Waller hit a massive clothesline and a dropkick before Knight took him down from the top of the turnbuckles.

Knight hit his finisher and picked up the win on Waller, securing his spot as the host of Halloween Havoc next week.

Result: LA Knight def. Grayson Waller and will host Halloween Havoc

Tommaso Ciampa & Bron Breakker vs. the Grizzled Young Veterans on NXT 2.0

Breakker and Drake kicked off the match and Bron was in control early on and hit a big suplex on Drake, wiping him out. Ciampa forced a tag after Bron refused and took on both GYV members at the same time.

Ciampa was cleaning house as the main event on NXT 2.0 continued. After a break, Drake was hit with a big move in the ring while Gibson took out Breakker from the apron.

GYV isolated Ciampa before getting a near fall off a double-team move. Ciampa was in trouble but managed to make the tag after Breakker wiped out Gibson from the outside, but the NXT champ hit Breakker while making the tag.

Breakker looked like he would hit Ciampa back but attacked Drake in the ring instead. Gibson interfered, but was tossed out of the ring, before Breakker picked up the win on Drake with a powerslam.

Result: Tommaso Ciampa & Bron Breakker def. the Grizzled Young Veterans

We got two match stipulations confirmed for Halloween Havoc next week while Johnny Gargano challenged Carmelo and stole his belt with Lumis on NXT 2.0. Ciampa and Breakker teamed up against the GYV and picked up a big win in the main event of tonight's NXT 2.0.
