WWE RAW: 3 Obscure but important details you missed this week (November 25th, 2019)

The fallout from Survivor Series dominated this week's episode of RAW since Seth Rollins was apparently hung up on the fact that the Red Brand was unable to win the battle for brand dominance the night before.

NXT wiped the floor with both SmackDown and RAW, which is why Seth Rollins was looking for some answers at the top of the show, despite losing his own match. TLC is now less than three weeks away and not only is it the final pay-per-view of 2019, but it is also the final WWE show before the Royal Rumble which begins the Road To WrestleMania.

Starrcade also takes place this weekend as a Network Exclusive event, which means that there was a lot going on during RAW, so here are a few details that many fans may have missed.

#3. Rusev's love of Bloodsport

In recent weeks, WWE seems to have developed a new policy since many Superstars have been wearing black shirts rather than promoting their own merchandise. Many WWE Superstars already wear band related shirts, but this week on RAW, Rusev came out and attacked Bobby Lashley while wearing a shirt that promoted Jean-Claude Van Damme's Bloodsport.

The shirt featured the words, "What the hell is a Dim Mack!" which is a line from the famous film. This shirt also demonstrates that Rusev wasn't supposed to be part of the show, which is why he came to the ring wearing street clothes.

Rusev is a huge fan of Bloodsport and has mentioned it a number of times on social media, so it was quite interesting for him to be able to promote the movie as part of one of the company's most controversial storylines.

#2. Did Matt Hardy get knocked out?

Matt Hardy returned to RAW last night after a number of months on the sidelines due to injury. Hardy returned to his Hardy Boys era gimick and took on Buddy Murphy as a way to set up a match between WWE's 'Best Kept Secret' and Aleister Black.

Buddy Murphy and Matt Hardy had a short match, but it was full of action since a kick in the corner saw the former champion bust open Murphy's nose. It's unknown if the knee on the ropes following the Twist of Fate counter was then a receipt for this, but it looked as though it connected with the side of Matt's head.

There was then another knee that connected and took Hardy to the floor before Murphy then dragged him across the ring and hit yet another knee before the pin. The way Hardy was dragged across the ring caused many to believe that he may have been knocked out by one of those knees, which is why Murphy decided to pin him off of a knee rather than deliver his usual Murphy's Law finish.

#1. Is Ric Flair dead?

Following an attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar, Dio Madden has been missing from the commentary desk, but while Samoa Joe was on hand to call the action last week, Jerry Lawler and Vic Joseph were left alone this week.

Lawler and Joseph didn't have the best night and it's obvious that most of the time poor Vic has no idea what 'The King' was trying to say. With that stated, Lawler was definitely having an off night since he seemingly thought that Ric Flair was dead during Charlotte Flair's match with Asuka.

Lawler claimed that after her loss at Survivor Series, Charlotte's father would be looking down on her, something that Joseph obviously questioned since he turned and commented: "What do you mean? Ric Flair's not dead."

Thinking on his feet, Lawler went on to state that he meant it in a way where Flair was seen as condescending. He later went on to comment that he couldn't understand a word that Asuka says on a night when the WWE Universe realized that Jerry Lawler is definitely not the commentator that he used to be.
