What surprises will Night 2 of the WWE draft bring?
What surprises will Night 2 of the WWE draft bring?

So much could potentially happen on the second night of the WWE Draft, which takes place on the following edition of WWE RAW, especially if you consider the drama of everything that unfolded on WWE SmackDown. The New Day came to an end, and Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio will now continue their feud on another brand, meaning that there is bound to be more than one surprise on WWE RAW as well.

What are the surprises that we could see on the following edition of WWE RAW? These are five possibilities we have listed down but we welcome you to chime in with your own thoughts and opinions about what could potentially happen during the show.

Also, do list five things that should not happen during the course of the 2020 Draft from your perspective.

#5 Mustafa Ali and his heel faction RETRIBUTION assault The New Day during their first night on WWE RAW

The biggest news story to come out of the first night of the 2020 WWE Draft was that The New Day would be split up with Big E remaining on SmackDown and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods going over to WWE RAW. And shortly after that was announced, WWE RAW Superstar Mustafa Ali, who was revealed as the leader of RETRIBUTION posted the message shared above. He has a bone to pick with Kofi Kingston, considering that it was his spot that Kofi Kingston took after he went on to make history.

The New Day vs. RETRIBUTION is pretty much guaranteed to be a pretty interesting feud if you consider how hot the latter is right now and the legacy of the former group. There's a readymade story and it could become the hottest thing on RAW.

#4 The Fiend confronts Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton on WWE RAW, setting up future feuds

Drew McIntyre has been absolutely bulletproof as WWE Champion but that could be set to change if The Fiend becomes a part of the WWE RAW roster. Drew McIntyre vs. The Fiend is one of those contests that is absolutely impossible to call and predict, because of how strongly both men are booked under normal circumstances in the company.

And as for Randy Orton, we know that he has a history with Bray Wyatt, as a former member of the Wyatt Family. This is what he said during an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling:

The story's there because, I think it was 2017, maybe 2016 that I was actually in the Wyatt Family. I got to wrestle Bray at WrestleMania. Beat him for the title. If The Fiend has a bone to pick with anybody, it will be the Legend Killer. It will be very interesting.

Maybe there's a three-way dance between Drew McIntyre, The Fiend, and Randy Orton on WWE RAW, that extends all the way until the Royal Rumble?

#3 Charlotte Flair returns to action and confronts Asuka on WWE RAW

An interesting thing to note is that Charlotte Flair is part of the Draft Pool and at the same time, it does seem like Asuka has been running short of opponents. So, could Charlotte Flair return to WWE RAW this week, and cut a promo about Asuka? Even if she is not at 100% yet, Charlotte Flair could lay the groundwork for a feud down the line for the WWE RAW Women's Championship. Bayley could always come over to WWE RAW and do the same, but it just seems like Sasha Banks and Bayley have a longer story to tell. And yes, both women should remain on SmackDown, for the time being.

Charlotte Flair was the woman to break Asuka's streak and so the two women have a lot of history as well. In the absence of Becky Lynch, it could be these two women that take the WWE RAW Women's Division to the next level. And we know that the clashes will be truly titanic.

#2 Aleister Black joins The Wyatt Family on WWE RAW

If you saw the way that SmackDown ended, you must have seen Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss turning in unison, in the creepiest manner. And they could potentially bring this supernatural energy to WWE RAW as well if they both get drafted to the brand. And once they do, both of them could start enlisting new Superstars to join their fold, including a certain Aleister Black, someone who is familiar with dark forces himself, from the WWE RAW brand.

Yes, all of these characters have a history with Kevin Owens, and this could be the glue, the catalyst that brings them together to form a formidable faction within the WWE RAW brand.

Imagine Aleister Black and The Fiend potentially entering the WWE RAW Tag Team division as well, if they team up to take on the likes of The New Day or The Street Profits. It could be a modern-day version of the Brothers of Destruction and a pretty massive step up for Black.

#1 The Street Profits are traded to SmackDown from WWE RAW

One question that is being asked is how the SmackDown Tag Team Champions have been traded to WWE RAW shortly after they won the prestigious Championships. The simple answer is that while The New Day could arrive with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships to WWE RAW, the current Champions, The Street Profits could be traded to SmackDown by Stephanie McMahon.

A change in scenery wouldn't be the worst thing for Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins because it just feels like they haven't done anything substantial in quite some time on the WWE RAW brand. The two teams could, amicably, change their Championships before heading to the other brand.

One theory that's been thrown about is that the WWE RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships could be unified on the following episode of WWE RAW, and if that is the case, it would count as a major surprise too.
