The first night of the draft, that happened on SmackDown on FOX, was not the most eventful night ever. The draft had very few surprises, truth be told, and the only genuine surprise of the night was Bayley tapping into her heel persona.
But the second night of the draft could bring about a lot of surprises, in my opinion. This is the night to watch out for because I do believe that a lot of important decisions will be made here.

#5 Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar change brands
As crazy as this sounds, we could see Seth Rollins coming to SmackDown and see Brock Lesnar going to RAW, as part of the draft. Something like this would certainly get people talking and that has seemed to be the approach for WWE when it comes to booking, for a long time now. Doing something newsworthy as opposed to booking a long-term storyline of the kind that NXT does.
We know that Lashley is going to be on RAW and so it makes sense to bring Lesnar to the brand, to possibly book a Lashley vs. Lesnar feud at some point down the line. Seth Rollins needs a fresh start to get the stain of Hell in a Cell off his back, and maybe a shift to the blue brand can accomplish the same.
#4 Kofi Kingston comes to RAW, The New Day remains on SmackDown on FOX
Kofi Kingston's story over the past year has been one that made a lot of fans very happy indeed. It proved that WWE does indeed listen to its fans and when Kofi Kingston made history at WrestleMania by becoming the WWE Champion, the whole arena celebrated with the man, elevating him to a new level. So much so, that many felt in the days that followed that the New Day gimmick was actually bringing him down because no self-respecting Champion should be throwing pancakes and shaking his hips.
So maybe he is repackaged and pushed to the top on RAW as a top superstar, who could maybe become the top babyface on RAW while Seth Rollins slowly slips into heel territory. A lot of people believe that Seth Rollins isn't connecting with fans as a babyface, and maybe a feud with Kofi Kingston as the babyface without New Day in tow is just what the red brand needs. Big E and Xavier Woods can continue to make waves on SmackDown on FOX.
Many believe that The New Day is stale and this could be a welcome change for all three men.
#3 Kevin Owens cuts a scathing promo
So during the course of the draft, we learned that Kevin Owens had been drafted to RAW. And shortly after that, Owens posted the following Tweet, which pretty much sent the internet into an absolute frenzy.
It is no secret that Kevin Owens has bounced between the two brands ever since the 2016 draft and the Superstar Shake-Ups that followed. I don't know what element of truth there is to the fact that Kevin Owens is not happy with going from brand to brand, but one thing that's for sure is that if it's up on WWE's social media, then it means that this is fuel for a storyline to come.
Kevin Owens has been portrayed as the everyday man, and his fights have been against the system that has tried to keep him down and stop him from being the Superstar that we all know he has the potential to be. And so, in line with the same, I can totally imagine him cutting a scathing pipebomb, like CM Punk did, to remind us what a beast he is on the microphone.
This could be the beginning of a new storyline!
#2 Liv Morgan showcases her brand new persona
Liv Morgan was separated from the Riott Squad during the Superstar Shake-Up and while everyone assumed that she would become a breakout star after this, she was relegated to the side while others made waves. Morgan would lose a big match and vow to return and unleash who she really was upon the world. Since she's a part of the second night of the draft pool, I do believe that we'll find out what her brand new persona is, at RAW.
What one needs to remember is that just drafting top-level Superstars is not enough, but you also need compelling feuds for each one of these said Superstars. So while Becky Lynch may be the face of RAW and while Sasha Banks may be the top female star on SmackDown (depending on where Bayley is drafted), both of them need top stars to face off against in the weeks and months that follow. Liv Morgan's current persona hasn't been revealed and she could return both as a babyface and a heel.
She certainly has the look and was getting better in the ring too, during her last run in the trio. Let's see if she can branch off as a singles star.
#1 Fire and Desire split up
We've seen the first cracks already, as Mandy Rose has been showcased as a vain and self-obsessed individual who's more obsessed with herself than actually winning her matches. Sonya Deville is the polar opposite, a lean and mean fighting machine, who uses her MMA experience to pick up big victories.
Could someone like Mandy Rose come to RAW, which is more of the sports entertainment brand while Sonya Deville makes SmackDown her home, where she can enchant fans with her impressive MMA-oriented pro wrestling showcase, every week? I certainly do believe that this is possible since Mandy Rose will need new opponents to face every week.
WWE did tease the fact that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross would break up by announcing their names separately, but ultimately both ended up on the very same brand. I wonder if we'll see USA Network Executives jump in jubilation if Mandy Rose is drafted to RAW and if the FOX robot does the same when Sonya Deville comes to SmackDown.
In any case, get set for a night that is full of genuine twists and turns, this Monday Night.
