The hype for Survivor Series is very real and we are only days from the big event this year. Of course, the event is in Rosemont, Illinois and the question of whether CM Punk will show up or not is on everyone's mind at this point.
Even if he does not, there's a stacked event in store for us with members of RAW, SmackDown and NXT vying for glory. But could a few surprises happen that shake up the whole Survivor Series card and change the product significantly for the fans?
Anyone who's a fan of the beautiful form of art known as sports entertainment certainly loves surprises. I will list a few of them in this article, and you can tell me whether or not you want to see them take place.

#5 Randy Orton turns heel again
Last week, it seemed like Randy Orton had finally become a babyface. And then before he left the ringside area, he informed us that he does what he wants and he does so when he wants to do it. Who could possibly disagree with a legend like 'The Viper'?
And maybe, this week he does something that makes his teammates suspect that he's not quite the team player that they assumed that he was. I mean Randy Orton could always become a babyface but in 2019, his slow and methodical style may not necessarily get over to the extent that Ricochet's style will.
WWE strives on telling stories that have drama at the core and the question of whether Randy Orton can be trusted or not is a story of this nature. I am quite intrigued to see how this one potentially plays out!
#4 Brand new tag team Champions crowned on RAW
So recently we saw The New Day defeat The Revival and take their spot at WWE Survivor Series next weekend. Could there be a similar surprise when it comes to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder who won a big match internationally to earn a shot at The Viking Raiders and the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships? The crowd has always supported these two underdogs with all their heart and it may just be what the audience needs at the show!
In this triple threat match, you'd then have two beloved babyface teams and a massive heel team that the crowd does not necessarily hate, locking horns at Survivor Series. It would just shake things up significantly and let's be honest...as good as the Viking Raiders are, it's not like the world waits with bated breath whenever they are on the screen every single week. Maybe a change in guard at the very top of the Tag Team Division is just what it needs to become exciting again, and for it to become fresh and interesting.

#3 Rowan's mysterious object is revealed
There has been much speculation as to what the mysterious object Rowan has been carrying to the ring could contain from various parts of the internet. In fact, Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda said in a recent podcast that it could be something cute like a kitten!
I would also not rule out the possibility of it being some inanimate object like a weapon or even a mannequin head that he can talk to. Maybe Rowan has spoken to Al Snow already and has his blessings to continue his gimmick or maybe he's spoken to Jake Roberts and has his blessings for his legendary gimmick!
Whatever it may be, the speculation could end on RAW when we finally discover what it is that Rowan is carrying under the sack and inside the cage. In fact, whether it's an animal or even a weapon, it could become a big part of his gimmick, going forward.
I do hope it is not a sheep mask as a lot of people have been speculating online, harking back to his days in the erstwhile Wyatt Family. Erick Rowan needs to keep moving forward and develop his persona as a singles star!
#2 The Horsewomen unite against the MMA Horsewomen
When Sportskeeda's own Alan John asked Charlotte Flair about a potential Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match, this is what she said about the dream contest:
Well, first of all, out of all these women, I’m the only one that can claim to be a Horsewoman. That’s what bothers me. All seven of them can just shut their mouths. I’m the only Flair, so if anyone gets to call themselves a Horsewoman, it’s Charlotte Flair. That goes to the Four Horsewomen in WWE, the Four Horsewomen of MMA, so you tell them that! [laughs] I’ve never said that in an interview, so I’m feeling a little testy.”
That said, it does not rule out the fact that this is a scenario that could certainly happen at a big stage down the line. Survivor Series could be the point of origin and maybe the match culminates at WrestleMania this year.
Hence, to set the whole feud up, maybe what happens on RAW this week is that Becky and Charlotte are jumped by Bayley and Sasha and in turn, the NXT Horsewomen come down to pick up the pieces. This causes them to make an uneasy alliance, and maybe, in time, this could be the storyline that brings Ronda Rousey back!
#1 Andrade defeats Seth Rollins, he is replaced from the team
Shockingly enough, Andrade will take on Seth Rollins to determine who will be a part of Team RAW at Survivor Series 2019. Yes, if Andrade achieves the impossible and actually takes Seth Rollins down, he replaces Seth Rollins in the team.
Well, all I'm going to say is that there are a certain number of reasons why WWE may decide to tread down this route. Maybe the plan is to have Seth Rollins take on Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at the pay-per-view or something or even have him sit out of the show, giving credence to Triple H's whole invitation back to NXT situation he proposed on RAW.
Seth Rollins does not need to be part of a star-studded multi-man match anyway and to be fair, Andrade does. While I think it is unlikely that they will take Seth Rollins out of the match in such a manner, I have a feeling that they very well could, just to shake things up for Survivor Series.
Maybe if he gets defeated during the match, it causes him to finally snap and become a heel.
