WWE RAW after SummerSlam: 5 Superstars Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend could target next

Let the Fiend in
Let the Fiend in

Everything in this world is like a wheel, and it keeps spinning no matter what. The things that sit at one place are often the ones that are washed away by the river of time and with the SummerSlam 2019 being a thing of the past, it is time for WWE to move forward.

The event itself was a great one, with the highlights of it being the main event between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins and, obviously, the match between Bray Wyatt’s Fiend and Finn Balor.

The Irishman didn’t invoke the Demon for this SummerSlam clash against The Fiend as the latter needed a perfect squash win to get himself off to a flying start and that is exactly what happened.

The mannerisms that The Fiend showed in the ring and the brutality with which he conducted himself in the ring really got everyone hyped up. Surely, there are big things planned ahead for the Eater of the Worlds and here are 5 Superstars he could target next after putting Balor away at SummerSlam…

#5 Dolph Ziggler

Could they pair against each other again?
Could they pair against each other again?

We know that whoever faces The Fiend right now is bound to lose as he needs the momentum going for him. Right now, there is perhaps no better option to take a defeat than Dolph Ziggler.

The Show-off is already 39 years of age and it doesn’t look like he will be setup for a major push in the future. He got a proper beating from Goldberg at SummerSlam and sold the latter’s moves so well that his Super Showdown disaster may just have disappeared in the rearview mirror.

The thing with Ziggler is that he makes his opponents look far better than they actually are in the ring, and Wyatt now needs an opponent of who makes him look like a monster inside the ring. Ziggler is the man who can do that.

#4 The Miz

The Miz is also a nice option
The Miz is also a nice option

Remember when Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House ‘friends’ were actually stalking the Miz after the segments ended? It gave us the impression that the Fiend would be targeting the Miz as his opponent, but in the end, it didn’t turn out to be that way.

Like Ziggler, Miz is a veteran it doesn’t seem like he is going to get a shot at the major titles any time soon. He is used more as a show host these days and it wouldn’t be wrong to use him to put Wyatt over once again.

For starters, Miz is one of the cleanest workers inside the ring and can actually also go extreme, as he showed in his WrestleMania match against Shane McMahon. His versatility and experience – and also his status – could really elevate Wyatt for his next big feud.

The Miz is scheduled to face Ziggler on WWE RAW after SummerSlam and it is the perfect platform for Wyatt to interrupt and target one of the two stars in the process.

It’s like the spoon already has food on it, all Wyatt has to do is put it in his mouth.

#3 Baron Corbin

Almost everyone hates him
Almost everyone hates him

Now, at first glance, this doesn’t look like a great idea. After all, the fans can’t seem to connect with him and he was partly the reason why Seth Rollins lost so much momentum after he won his WrestleMania bout against Brock Lesnar.

There just doesn’t seem to anything compelling about the Lone Wolf apart from the fact that his character is quite annoying and really puts off the fans.

Things got even worse when he was paired up against Lacey Evans as the latter, too, wasn’t very well received by the WWE Universe during her feud with Becky Lynch.

However, with Corbin, there always seems to be an advantage with the fact that he is easily one of the most hated characters in the WWE right now. The company only recently tried to push him but that didn’t work and he won’t be getting another one any time soon.

Combine all of that and how much the fans love Wyatt’s Fiend persona, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that they would absolutely love it if The Fiend gives Corbin a mauling of a lifetime.

#2 AJ Styles

Should Wyatt and Styles clash?
Should Wyatt and Styles clash?

Let’s start with saying that it is very unlikely that WWE would pair Wyatt with a big-name Superstar just yet. The Fiend has to go on a relentless winning streak where he destroys his opponents, so AJ Styles might not be the answer for WWE right now.

However, Style has just retained his US Championship against Ricochet and will now need a new challenger for his title. Wyatt, meanwhile, will eventually be put into the main event scene and winning the US Title might be a good start for him.

#1 Seth Rollins

This could be an epic clash
This could be an epic clash

If there is anyone on RAW that has the momentum to challenge for Seth Rollins’ WWE Universal Championship, it has to be none other than The Fiend. The likes of Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman have lost the pace in recent weeks and the Fiend could actually be the next challenge for Rollins.

The only disadvantage with this is that Wyatt will be pushed to the main event scene a little too early but that is not entirely a bad thing. The Fiend has been terrorizing WWE legends and it would make sense for him to have a long and psychological feud against Rollins.

WWE can proceed with this directly – by giving him a title shot in the next PPV – or slowly by making the Fiend play mind games against Rollins for months before handing him the match.
