WWE RAW - Best and Worst- Alexa Bliss and The Fiend launch stunning attack, Big mistake with current Champion on Draft Night Two

Alexa Bliss channeled The Fiend this week on WWE RAW
Alexa Bliss channeled The Fiend this week on WWE RAW

WWE RAW was a pretty solid show this week, and in a lot of ways, it was the end of this season of WWE programming. There was honestly a lot to like on this week's episode of WWE RAW and very little was actually bad per se, but WWE did get a few things wrong on this episode.

So, what do you think of the 2020 WWE Draft that played out across two nights on SmackDown and WWE RAW? Do you think that the moves across both nights were significant enough to qualify this as one of the better WWE drafts or do you think that the company had a few missteps along the way?

How much would you rate the Season finale of WWE RAW out of say, 10?

#1 Best: Alexa Bliss and The Fiend team up on WWE RAW to assault Zelina Vega and Andrade

Andrade took on Angel Garza in what was a pretty solid match, in which the latter came out on top to earn a big victory on WWE RAW this week. And then, when Andrade and Zelina Vega were in the ring, the lights would turn red. The Fiend and Alexa Bliss, two WWE Superstars who'd been drafted to the WWE RAW brand would then show up and inflict pain and punishment upon Zelina Vega and Andrade. The coordinated 'Sister Abigail(s)' maneuvers were a thing of beauty.

Nobody would have seen this partnership coming a few months ago, but both Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss are perhaps the two best actors in the current WWE RAW roster and when they work together, they create absolute magic. Alexa Bliss is probably what The Fiend needed to revive his run.

#1 Worst: Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn gets drafted in the fourth round of Draft Night Two?

On Draft Night Two, Sami Zayn, the current Intercontinental Champion was a part of the draft pool but unfortunately, he wasn't in the first round when it came to selection. Neither was he in the second or the third round of selections on Draft Night 2 and was the 17th selection overall.

For Sami Zayn to be so very low on the totem pole on Draft Night Two is an insult to the legacy of the Intercontinental Championship and its rich and storied legacy, something that has been a part of so many incredible WWE moments. Even The Great Liberator wasn't happy with what had transpired on Night Two of the WWE Draft.

How discouraging must it be for Sami Zayn, who is supposed to be one of the main Champions in WWE, but is so blatantly disrespected when it comes to his draft position.

Almost every other selection on WWE Draft Night Two was fine, but this was one that did not just irk us at Sportskeeda, but almost everyone on social media as well.

#2 Best: A fantastic tribute to Eddie Guerrero on WWE RAW from Ricochet

Sasha Banks may be especially vocal about her fandom for Eddie Guerrero, but so many Superstars who are a part of the WWE RAW roster have followed in the footsteps of the man who used to lie, cheat, and steal and of course, Ricochet is one of them. His match against Cedric Alexander saw a trademark Eddie Guerrero spot, that many in the audience caught and it was a fantastic tribute to the legend a few days after his birthday. Of course, Ricochet and The Hurt Business are done with each other on WWE RAW as well, and honestly, that's a positive development.

There are many feuds that run past their due date and Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre is in dangerous territory right now, where it may just have viewers lose interest.

Ricochet could go on to on a whole host of new opponents, including Superstars who've come over to WWE RAW from SmackDown as such The Fiend and Matt Riddle.

#2 Worst: The Women's Battle Royal in the main event spot of WWE RAW, and almost everything with Lana

When there's a battle royal announced, there's always a great chance to bring back some big names from the past and maybe people got overly enthusiastic at the thought of either Melina or Eva Marie returning. There were absolutely no surprises when it came to the WWE RAW main event, except for maybe Lana winning, which was a nice touch for sure. But do we really think that there's a chance that Lana dethrones Asuka when the two women collide?

There would have been an outside chance if Natalya was on the outside during this match, shifting the balance in the favor of Lana, but as we know Natalya and Lana are no longer a unit anymore and The Queen Of Harts has been drafted to SmackDown.

And of course, Lana went through a table once again, which has pretty much become her gimmick at this point in time. What a fantastic way to build up your WWE RAW Women's Championship No. 1 Contender! The woman who goes through tables.

#3 Best/Worst: Did WWE accidentally give away a WWE RAW result to us?

In the mind of this reviewer, the title swap between The New Day and The Street Profits on WWE RAW was a bit of a copout and perhaps the least interesting way to have the Champion of one brand move over to the other. That said, The New Day and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode had a pretty fantastic match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.

And so, pretty much every fan watching the show knew that The New Day would be winning the match because the company wouldn't put their WWE RAW Tag Team Championships around the waists of a team that was headed to SmackDown. This is only a minor grievance from a viewer standpoint, but one that nags at you nevertheless.
