WWE RAW Preview (9/4/2018): Brock Lesnar's next challenger revealed, ECW Champion returns, Reigns turns heel

WrestleMania 34 was a little confusing in some ways but altogether unpredictable. Brock Lesnar beat Roman Reigns in the main-event, a result that saw our collective jaws drop.

Braun Strowman found himself a partner, referee John Cone's 10-year old son Nicholas who became the youngest champion in WWE history. We also saw a new Women's Champion and IC Champion crowned.

What can we expect from the RAW after WrestleMania? A lot.

Brock's next challenger?

Brock Lesnar shocked the world by defeating the heavily favoured Roman Reigns in the WrestleMania 34 main-event to continue his reign as Universal Champion. Brock hit Roman with 6 F5's in the process of beating him. With Roman falling on his sword, who's next?

As of now, my guess would go to Bobby Lashley. When the rumours of Lashley signing with WWE first made waves, it was said that WWE wanted Lashley in a programme with Brock before Brock left the WWE. With Brock's contract now reportedly being up in August, this could be WWE's chance to set Lashley as the guy who conquers 'The Beast'.

Roman Reigns turns heel

The number of boos Roman got as he came out at WrestleMania surprised me. I thought WWE did a fantastic job in highlighting Roman as the babyface in the lead-up to WrestleMania but I guess Roman being in the main event of Mania is still a bridge to far for some of WWE's most hardcore fans.

Roman Reigns took 6 F5's, multiple German Suplexes and bled profusely in a losing effort to against Brock. With Roman probably getting booed later tonight on RAW, is this the last straw for Reigns? Will he finally turn his back on the WWE fans who refuse to accept him.

Asuka's path forward

It will be a whole new world of sorts for Asuka, when she returns to RAW tomorrow. Her undefeated streak and air of invincibility gone, what's next for the Empress of Tomorrow?

Will Asuka lose her mind and go on a rampage through RAW's women's division or could she gain even more focus after her loss and go straight after Nia Jax and her newly won Raw Women's Championship.

Debuts and returns

We can expect a slew of NXT debuts on RAW tonight. The Superstars who could debut include the Authors of Pain, Ember Moon, Drew McIntyre and Andrade 'Cien' Almas amongst others, some more likely than others.

A number of returns are also expected including Big Cass, Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe.

Nicholas?

What's next for Nicholas? After finding fame overnight as the youngest champion in WWE history, 10-year old Nicholas will presumably return to RAW with Braun Strowman.

What do WWE have planned for the 10-year Nicholas and Braun Strowman? Surely, Nicholas can't stay RAW Tag-Team Champion for long seeing that he has more important things on his plate..............like returning to school.

What's next for Ronda?

Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania debut was incredible. Not only was the match booked impeccably but Ronda showed up why she's one of the best athletes in the world. Stephanie also did her part, showing us why she's one of the best pure heels in all of professional wrestling today.

What's next for Ronda? Will it be a continuation of her program with Triple H and Stephanie?
