A chaotic night on RAW saw Xavier Woods edge closer to achieving his dream

Drew McIntyre kicked off RAW before being interrupted by Big E in the ring. E and Drew talked about how McIntyre wanted a shot at the WWE Title. Drew said that at Crown Jewel, he would secure the gold once again.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos, came out to interrupt them and gave a warning on behalf of the Bloodline and Roman Reigns to Drew and Big E.

The Usos then said they were preparing to take down the New Day when they will come to SmackDown before telling Big E that if he could beat Drew at Crown Jewel, he would get a shot at The Tribal Chief at Survivor Series.

The Usos attacked Drew and Big E and wiped them out with superkicks after challenging them to a tag match tonight on RAW. Big E and McIntyre accepted the challenge shortly after as RAW continued.


Xavier Woods vs. Ricochet - King of the Ring Tournament Round 1 on RAW

Woods started off strong and dropped Ricochet on the apron after blocking a springboard move. Woods was caught on the top rope, and Ricochet hit a huge Superplex from up top.

Back after a break, Woods hit a big Vertical Suplex and a Gutbuster before Ricochet set him up for a big slam and a basement dropkick. Outside the ring, the former US Champion drove Woods into the barricades twice, before missing a big dive and hitting the floor.

Back in the ring, Woods took Ricochet down and hit the Limit Breaker from the ropes to pick up the win!

Result: Xavier Woods def. Ricochet

Back after the break on RAW, Riddle revealed to Randy Orton that he challenged Omos to a match. Orton was not pleased and told Riddle that he was 'on his own'.


The Hurt Business vs. Mustafa Ali & Mansoor on RAW

Ali and Shelton were in the ring as we returned from commercials on RAW and Cedric was tagged in as the Hurt Business dominated early on. Mansoor came in to turn things around before Ali returned and hit a dropkick, sending Cedric into the corner.

Mansoor took out Shelton with a suicide dive to the outside before Ali missed the dive in the ring and Cedric caught him with a Michinoku Driver. Shelton kept Mansoor from breaking the pin on the apron while Cedric pinned Ali in the ring for the win.

Result: The Hurt Business def. Mustafa Ali & Mansoor

Ali and Mansoor had a falling out after the match and Ali walked out, leaving Mansoor in the ring.

Shayna Baszler vs. Dana Brooke - Queen's Crown tournament Round 1 on RAW

Shayna started off strong but Dana managed to turn things around and roll her up for a near fall. Shayna took Brooke to the corner and hit her with a series of strikes before Dana managed to sidestep and send Baszler into the turnbuckles.

Baszler got a leglock in before trying for the Khiridfuda Clutch on RAW. Dana got out of the hold but took a knee strike before going down for the three-count.

Riddle vs. Omos on RAW

Before the match, Riddle got on the mic and started rambling about random things before giving Randy the cue to attack but he never showed up. AJ fired back and told the ref that Riddle was stalling before the match started.

Riddle attacked AJ outside the ring for some reason before Omos dragged him back into the ring, hit a huge chokeslam and tried to go for the pin. AJ stopped him from ending the match and told Omos to punish Riddle.

Omos delivered a roundhouse kick to Riddle and AJ loved it before Styles gave Omos the signal and he slammed Riddle down and got the pin with one foot.

Result: Omos def. Riddle

Grade: C


After the match on RAW, AJ was about to hit the Styles Clash on Riddle but Randy's music hit. AJ was prepared for an attack but it didn't happen till he sent Omos to look for Randy around the ring. As Omos stepped out, Randy took the opportunity to hit an RKO out of nowhere on AJ before escaping with Riddle.


Backstage on RAW, Big E and Drew settled their differences and joined forces for their match tonight.


Bobby Lashley has a message for Goldberg on RAW

Bobby Lashley walked out to talk about his upcoming match with Goldberg. He fired back at the WWE Hall Of Famer and took shots at him for threatening to end his life. Lashley called Goldberg a rabid animal and said that he needed to be 'put down'.

Funnily, after criticizing Goldberg for threatening to end his life, Bobby was claiming he would end the Hall of Famer. He walked out after saying that 'you can't kill The All Mighty'.


Backstage, Sasha took shots at Bianca, Becky, and Charlotte before saying that she was next in line to become the SmackDown Women's Champion.


Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Theory on RAW

Hardy took the latest addition to RAW to the corner and hit him with an axhandle from the middle rope. Theory hit a big dropkick before getting a near fall. Austin locked in a hold before Reginald rushed to the ring with the 24/7 titlechasers behind him.

Reggie flipped over the contestants and the chase continued before R-Truth was in the ring and got in Theory's way. Hardy took control off the distraction to hit the Atomic Drop, a leg drop combination and the Twist of Fate.

Hardy went to the top rope but missed the Swanton Bomb before Theory rolled him up with a handful of tights and picked up the win.

Jinder Mahal vs. Kofi Kingston - King of the Ring Tournament Round 1on RAW

Kingston had the upper hand early on with a dropkick out of the corner before getting a splash and a big boot. Mahal was sent outside and Kofi wiped him out with a massive senton over the ropes.

After a break on RAW, Jinder was in control but Kofi came back with a missile dropkick and a crossbody for a near fall.

Mahal hit a gutbuster but Kofi took him down and hit the Boom Drop on RAW. Veer and Shanky attacked Woods at ringside and the distraction let Mahal hit the Khallas in the ring and pick up the win.

Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks on RAW

Banks and Belair were bickering amongst each other about who would start the match and Banks dragged Belair by her hair before they almost started fighting each other. Becky attacked Belair and a massive brawl broke out before the bell was even run.

Belair and Banks got control of their opponents but Charlotte took out Banks and wiped out Belair before attacking her own partner Becky. The Queen went up top but Becky dragged her down and Belair lifted and dropped Banks on top of their opponents.

A bunch of officials came out to stop the brawl before Pearce and Deville arrived to order them to restart the match.

The match finally started when we returned to RAW after a break and Charlotte and Banks were kicking things off. Flair took a hurricanrana before she hit a backbreaker.

Becky tagged herself in and Sasha went for a double team off the tag but The Man took her Crown Jewel opponents out. Belair hit a splash on the SmackDown Women's Champ before Banks tagged in and sent Belair out of the ring.

Flair sneaked in a tag while Becky was in trouble in the ring and they were bickering about it before Banks hit a Backstabber on Charlotte off the distraction.

Belair came back in the ring and sent Banks into the turnbuckles before the referee called off the match as a DQ.

Result: DNF

After the match, Becky hit a Beckxploder on Bianca and went for the Disarmher but Sasha came in and hit the Backstabber. Becky hit a big kick and took down Banks before celebrating in the ring.

Grade: B+


Doudrop vs. Natalya - Queen's Crown tournament Round 1 on RAW

Natalya slapped Doudrop right off the bat on RAW before unloading on her in the corner. Natalya took a big slam after Doudrop no-sold some of her offense. Natalya hit a kick to the back of the neck for a near fall.

Nattie tried for a submission move, and we saw Shayna watching the match from backstage. Doudrop broke free and hit a splash in the corner, but Nattie dodged the cannonball.

Doudrop rolled up Natalya and got the win, securing her spot in the semifinals.

Result: Doudrop def. Natalya

John Morrison was meditating backstage on RAW when Nikki and Rhea passed by him.


Mansoor was backstage, and Ali yelled at him for being a fanboy. Ali threatened him and called him a loser before walking out. The former RETRIBUTION leader then came back and attacked him for 'still not getting it.'

Drew and Jimmy kicked off the match, and Drew and Big E hit him with double team moves and a diving kick in the corner. Jey got the tag before he too, was being tossed around the ring.

Big E tagged in on RAW and locked in a hold on Jey before Jimmy sneaked in a tag and turned things around with a kick on the apron. Jey was sent outside the ring before Jimmy dodged a big splash on the apron as Big E wiped himself out as RAW headed for a break.

Back to the match, Big E kicked out of a pin attempt and dodged a big move before hitting a Belly to Belly Suplex and making the tag to Drew. Jey took the Glasgow Kiss but tagged Jimmy in who came in with a superkick for a near fall.

Drew was about to finish the match but Big E tagged himself in. E walked into a superkick before Jey countered the Big Ending. But Big E got it the second time.

Drew dragged E out of the ring before he could get the pin and a brawl broke down between the two as the match was called off.

Result: DNF

The Usos hit a dive and took them out mid-brawl and tossed Big E over the announcer's desk. The Usos sent Drew and E into the barricades but took a Belly to Belly suplex from the WWE Champ before Drew wiped out the other.

Back in the ring, Big E and Drew faced off again, with Drew hitting a Claymore, taking out the WWE Champ and leaving the arena as the show came to a close.

We got another great episode of RAW with the conclusion of round 1 of the King of the Ring and Queen's Crown tournaments. We got a big tag team main event while Austin Theory defeated Jeff Hardy.
