Braun Strowman kicked off the show and Seth Rollins was out next for the Universal Title match contract signing for Clash of Champions. AJ Styles crashed the party and said he was next in line for a Universal Title shot before tearing up the contract.

Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman vs. The OC

Seth Rollins kicked off the match against Karl Anderson. Braun tagged himself in and hit a big boot on Gallows, taking him out. Anderson was back in and AJ took a cheap shot and dropped Rollins at ringside.

Rollins was in trouble in the ring when AJ hit an apron move but managed to fall over. Seth took the opportunity to get a rollup pin on Anderson for the win.

Result: Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman def. The OC

Match rating: B

AJ attacked Seth after the bell. Braun helped fight them off but accidentally hit Seth. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler headed on down and all five men laid the smackdown on the tag champions.


We were back from the break as Cedric Alexander was being interviewed about his King of the Ring match tonight against Baron Corbin. Out of nowhere, the OC attacked him, throwing him into a stage crate.


Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

Ryder hit knees in the corner and a missile dropkick to Roode. He then for the Ruff Ryder but Roode blocked it. Roode went down in the corner and Hawkins tagged in for a double team Blockbuster off the second rope.

Ziggler broke the pin and Ryder sent Ziggler to the apron but Ziggler countered and sent Ryder to the floor. Ziggler superkicked Hawkins, sending him into a Glorious DDT from Roode. Roode went for it and got the pin.

Result: Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler def. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

We learned in an ad for SmackDown that The Undertaker will be making an appearance on next week's SmackDown Live.


Lacey Evans vs. Natalya

Natalya ran out and attacked Evans on the ramp and the match picked up as the two headed to the ring, mid-brawl. Nattie started off strong but Evans threw her handkerchief at Natalya, distracting her. She got the Women's Right and picked up an easy win.

Becky Lynch was out next and called out Sasha's antics from the last few weeks. She brought up how Sasha was the veteran when Becky was coming up in the main roster and called her a weirdo. Sasha came out said this was 'just business'. The two almost got into a fight but Sasha said she wasn't gonna fight her for free. They then decided on a RAW Women's title match at Clash of Champions.

Segment rating: B


The Street Profits were backstage and were at a loss for words after Sasha's promo ended.


Baron Corbin vs. Cedric Alexander - King of the Ring Quarter Finals

Alexander was noticeably hurt before the match began and Corbin had the upper hand early on. After a break, Corbin was still in control but the crowd was win Alexander's favor. Cedric turned things around with a corner dropkick but Corbin stopped him with a spine buster.

Corbin was targeting Cedric's hurt arm and took Deep Six but kicked out. Alexander hit a huge top rope move and took out Corbin. He hit a flying dropkick but Corbin kicked out. Corbin missed the End of Days and took a Michinoku driver and got another near fall. Corbin hit the End of Days for the win.

Result: Baron Corbin def. Cedric Alexander and advanced to the King of the Ring Semi-Finals

Stone Cold Steve Austin will be present next week to moderate the signing of the Universal Championship match contract.


We learned that Daniel Bryan still wanted an apology from Roman Reigns.

Bayley was backstage in an interview and said that she will be teaming up with Becky Lynch to face the Women's Tag Champs, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.


The Viking Raiders vs. Enhancement Talent

Ivar went through their opponents without much effort and threw one of them at the other. Outside, the Raiders sent one of the challengers into the barricade while the other, Hastings, took a backbreaker in the ring. The Raiders hit the Viking Experience on the challengers and got the win.

Result: The Viking Raiders def. Enhancement Talent

Up next was the King of the Ring Quarter Final match between Samoa Joe and Ricochet. The winner of the match will face Baron Corbin in the Semi Finals next week.

Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet - King of the Ring Quarter Finals

Samoa Joe had the upper hand early on with a hold and Ricochet fought out of it. Joe hit a kneebar but Ricochet found the ropes. Joe slammed Ricochet knee first into the mat, focusing on immobilizing the high flyer. Ricochet hit a moonsault off of springboard for a near fall. Joe hit the Uranagi and Ricochet was done.

Joe sent his opponent into the barricades with an exploder suplex but couldn't get the three-count. Samoa Joe was busted open soon after and it ended in a double pin.

Result: match ended in a double elimination

The Semi Final will be a triple threat match

Firefly Fun House

Bray Wyatt responded to the latest rumours surrounding the Hell In A Cell PPV in a cryptic manner. Rey Mysterio returned on RAW suggesting he still has a lot to do.


The Miz vs. Cesaro

Cesaro ran at The Miz and got a near fall right at the start. Cesaro stunned The Miz with some uppercuts but took the Skull Crushing Finale for the three-count.

Result: The Miz def. Cesaro

Match rating: A


Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Becky Lynch & Bayley - Champion vs. Champion match

Cross and Bayley kicked off the match and the SmackDown women's champ was in control. Becky lagged in and Sasha invaded the ringside area, distracting the RAW Champ. The match went on and Alexa was in control of Bayley in the ring, off the distraction. Sasha watched the match silently as Cross knocked Bayley out of the ring before she could tag Lynch.

Team Alexa hit a double-team move and Bayley managed to kick out. Alexa & Nikki were well in control and swapped hot tags while keeping Bayley away from her corner. Bayley got the tag regardless and Alexa was overpowered immediately.

Sasha hit the Backstabber on Becky as the bell rang and went after Lynch with a steel chair. Bayley looked to want to help the RAW Champ but instead hit her with the chair.

Result: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Becky Lynch & Bayley ended in a DQ

An incredible episode of Monday Night RAW as the King Of The Ring quarterfinals were the showstealers in terms of match quality. Bayley's heel turn and Bray Wyatt's promo will surely be the highlights tonight.
