WWE Roadblock 2016: What happened off air?

The action didn’t not end once the cameras stopped rolling

There’s some rather exciting news for WWE after company announcer Mauro Ranallo took to social networking site Twitter to claim that Roadblock, which took place in the Richo Coliseum in Toronto, Canada was a sell-out.

The dark matches from Roadblock saw some rather exciting results, with Mark Henry managing to overcome Randy Sharp – a local wrestler – while Goldust got the better of Viktor of The Ascension. R-Truth and Konnor also joined the post match action, but Golden Truth eventually prevailed.

The Roadblock event also saw the promotion of "Booty O's Cereal" t-shirt and cereal box, which is endorsed by WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, and will now be available to the public as announced by WWE.

Roadblock also saw Triple H defeat Dean Ambrose to maintain his iron grip on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The New Day also managed to come out on top against the League of Nations, which could be the beginning of an exciting feud, while Brock Lesnar defeated the Wyatt Family.

All in all, Roadblock was a pretty satisfying build up to WrestleMania 32, which will take place on the 3rd of next month.
