Ronda Rousey defends her Raw Women's Championship against perhaps her toughest challenger in Sasha Banks next weekend at the Royal Rumble. The Boss has held the Championship on numerous occasions before and could now be set to lift the title once again as she steps in the ring as Rousey's hand-picked challenger for the show.

Rousey herself is no pushover, she's a former Olympian and UFC Champion, she has also seamlessly made the transition from MMA to WWE and has already stepped into the ring with the likes of Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Stephanie McMahon.

This is a huge match for both women, but given the fact that Banks has been the woman spear-heading the Women's Division over the past few years, it is thought that she could be Rousey's toughest test as Champion and a worthy challenger ahead of WrestleMania.

#4. Sasha Banks wins the Women's Championship

It's a sight that the WWE Universe has become accustomed to, Sasha Banks has lifted the Raw Women's Championship on four separate occasions. The only real reason Rousey has been able to run riot over the division in recent months is because Banks has been busy looking at the Women's Tag Team Championships in the hopes that she and Bayley can make history at Elimination Chamber.

Banks has proved time and again that she knows how to step up her game and considering the fact that she has already been inside Hell in a Cell and was the ironwoman of last year's Royal Rumble match, she is more than ready for the challenge of Ronda Rousey.

The only thing that leads many fans to believe that Banks may not win is the fact that Rousey is expected to defend the title in the main event of WrestleMania.

#3 Ronda Rousey retains her Championship

Ronda Rousey has retained her Raw Women's Championship over the past few months in some huge matches against some of the best female wrestlers that the company has to offer. Banks was the natural next step for Rousey, who is looking to test her mettle against someone of the same calibre.

Rousey has a bright future in WWE but right now she has a number of enemies who are looking for her downfall, not to mention the fact that 30-women will be competing later in the night in the hopes that they will be given the chance to face her or Asuka for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania.

Given the fact that Rousey is expected to defend her Championship at WrestleMania in April, it's thought that The Baddest Woman On The Planet might well find a way past The Boss.

#2. Becky Lynch interferes

Becky Lynch definitely has a score to settle with Ronda Rousey after the Raw Women's Champion strutted to the ring at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs and cost Lynch her Championship when she knocked her and Charlotte Flair off the ladder and allowed Asuka to become Champion.

Lynch and Rousey haven't been in the same arena since TLC back in December and it's obvious that The Lasskicker will want some revenge, it could be a case of title for title if she makes her way to the ring and helps her former Four Horsewoman partner to defeat Ronda Rousey and take away her Women's Championship as well.

It is expected for Lynch to become involved at this point, but since Lynch herself is fighting for the SmackDown Women's Championship on the show, it would only make sense if her match is earlier on the card.

#1. The Four Horsewoman showdown begins

This could be the start of the long-awaited Four Horsewoman feud
This could be the start of the long-awaited Four Horsewoman feud

Sasha Banks and Ronda Rousey are two members of separate Four Horsewoman factions and it's believed that this match could well be the start of an epic showdown. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch already have an issue with Rousey, so if they make their way to the ring and outnumber the champion, it's likely that Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke won't be far behind.

Of course, Bayley will also be added to the mix since she is an original member of the group and this scenario begins to make more sense given the fact that all eight women will be in Phoenix on January 27th because Baszler is defending her Women's Championship the night before at Takeover.

It would be an interesting way to feed into WrestleMania, but it would also be an explosive way to start a feud that the WWE Universe has been waiting almost two years for.
