Could we see a brand new Universal Champion crowned at HIAC?

What's the story?

Braun Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to face off against Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell. Fans have been wondering if Reigns' reign as Universal Champion will end so soon after SummerSlam.

According to Sports Illustrated, as reported by Cageside Seats, the current rumour is that WWE is looking at a long Universal Championship run for The Big Dog. Therefore, expect Roman Reigns to come out victorious at Hell in a Cell.

In case you didn't know...

Braun Strowman attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on the RAW after SummerSlam 2018. His plans were thwarted by the return of The Shield.

To keep the Hounds at bay, Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank contract for Hell in a Cell. He will go one on one against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Because it will be inside a cell, no interference is expected from the allies of both WWE superstars.

The heart of the matter

As disappointing as the news may be for some individuals, WWE may be looking at booking Roman Reigns as a long-term champion going forward. Therefore, expect him to score a clean victory over the Monster Among Men at Hell in a Cell.

The other rumour doing the rounds is that there will be yet another challenger for his title following Hell in a Cell. This man is none other than the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre. Expect a program between Reigns and McIntyre, soon enough.

What's next?

The coming weeks on RAW will be building up to Hell in a Cell and beyond. Expect The Shield to go up against McIntyre, Ziggler and Strowman. All said and done, Reigns vs. Strowman in the cell should be a power-packed affair.
