In today's roundup, we take a look at Liv Morgan's new character, Rusev talking about the incidents in Saudi Arabia and his cryptic tweet. The former United States champion also spoke about his storyline with Lana and Bobby Lashley and went on to pick the WWE Superstar who he wants as his partner against the duo.

Before we get to that, let's get the two headline-makers out of the way:

Vince McMahon almost went to the ring to stop The Rock's segment

Dave Meltzer has revealed that Mick Foley finally opened up about Vince McMahon's reaction to the 'This Is Your Life' segment involving The Rock. The WWE Chairman was reportedly furious with the length of the segment and wanted to go down to the ring and stop it himself!

On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:

"I just saw Mick Foley last night. He did a show here. It was pretty fun. He told a story, I had never heard this story.
"So he was talking about the This is Your Life segment that he and the Rock did. I didn’t like that segment but it did do really big ratings and what I didn’t know is that Vince McMahon absolutely hated the segment. He hated it so bad, because it went so long, that he almost stormed down to the ring on live TV and stopped the segment, in fact, they had to talk him out of doing that.”

Dolph Ziggler wants former ECW champion to rejoin

Rumors of John Morrison rejoining WWE have been doing the rounds for some time now but nothing official has happened so far. The former ECW World Champion is a fan favourite and now, Dolph Ziggler has also revealed that he wants him to return.

Talking to talkSPORT, Ziggler said:

“He’s a friend of mine and I was doing him a favour [featuring in the movie]. He keeps it under his coat about what he’s doing but for three years he’s been telling me he’s coming back! So, I don’t know if he’s messing with me or what so I stopped asking him. I hope he comes back.”

Morrison distanced himself from the reports last month but rumors still suggest that he will be making his return soon.

Rusev on what happened in Saudi Arabia

Rusev was among the WWE Superstars who were stuck in Saudi Arabia after their pay-per-view in Riyadh last month. He was also one of the few who posted a cryptic tweet about it and was asked by a media outlet in the United Kingdom about the same.

With so many rumors going around about what had happened in the Middle East, Rusev poured cold water on all the fake news about them being held hostage. He said:

We were all ready to get out and we couldn't. The frustration just grew by each hour and me asking for prayers is nothing new. My father is a pastor, I'm a believer in God, Jesus Christ, our saviour, so I always ask for prayers just because I wanted to go home, not because we were held hostage.
I don't think anyone in their rightful mind is going to hold 170 people, American citizens, hostage, I don't think that'll reflect well anywhere.

Liv Morgan teases new character yet again

Liv Morgan has been off WWE TV ever since she lost to Charlotte Flair back in July. The former Riott Squad member has been teasing her new character on social media and tonight she has given us a glimpse of it.

It looks like she will be returning with a darker character and could well be a heel. There is no word on when she would be returning but any time after Survivor Series would be anyone's guess.

One thing we do know about her return is that she will be on Monday Night RAW. She was one of the few Superstars who were picked in the draft despite not being available at the moment.

It would be interesting to see if WWE put the title on her anytime before WrestleMania or if they will be riding the Becky wave for some more time.

Rusev wants Asuka's help

In a recent interview with the media in the United Kingdon, Rusev revealed that he would like to pick Asuka as his partner in a battle with Lana and Bobby Lashley.

The former United States champion was talking about his storyline with the newly formed duo. Rusev went on to claim that Asuka would help him improve his Japanese as well and it could be a win-win situation.

It's gotta be Asuka, she's definitely my favourite woman superstar and I think she's the best on the roster. I can also practice my Japanese with her, so it's a double win. I started lessons this year because I've always got to improve myself in some shape or form.
