In today's roundup, our top story concerns Randy Orton and 4 other WWE Superstars who have been linked with a move to All Elite Wrestling. But before that, there is some injury news regarding a New Day star, The Street Profits and Matt Riddle hitting iconic finishers and more!

Let's get started with the two headline-makers right now:

More Superstars set to be released?

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio has reported that WWE are likely to release a few more Superstars soon. The report comes on the same day that Randy Orton teased a move to All Elite Wrestling.

Luke Harper and Mike Kanellis have also revealed that they had asked for their release, but WWE have not yet given them what they asked for. Alvarez said:

“I was told today, there may be more [releases] coming. Who knows? Morale has not been good for a long time, but apparently the morale has taken an even bigger hit since October 1st. If you recall, the belief within WWE … their idea was ‘Oh my god, we’re going to FOX and a new boom period is going to kick off.”

Seth Rollins takes a shot at Vince McMahon

Seth Rollins was recorded by a fan saying Vince McMahon is the reason why he does not get to wear his white outfit anymore. The WWE Universal champion has been wearing themed ring gear and the white one was something the fans loved.

However, it looks like Vince is not a big fan. Rollins took a shot at him while revealing to a fan the reason for not wearing the gear. He said:

"No, Vince won't let me wear it. He doesn't understand that people think this is the coolest gear that they've ever seen. He doesn't get it. I get that question more than anything else. I mean, it's just huge man. I think it's in the archive. I gave it to the archivist guy and he puts it up in all the Axxesses and stuff."

Eric Bischoff opens up after getting fired from WWE

Eric Bischoff was fired by WWE last week – months after he was appointed as the executive director of SmackDown. Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff said:

“When I took this job, I knew what the odds were of it being a long-term opportunity for me. Let me just say it this way: I’m not surprised. I’m disappointed, I’m not going to lie, I’m disappointed. I would have liked for it to have been a longer run than it was. I’d be completely dishonest if I didn’t admit that, but at the same time I’m not completely surprised either.”

Bischoff also revealed that he was expecting to stay in the role for 2-3 years when he signed the deal in June. However, reports suggest that Vince McMahon was not happy with the direction the show was heading in and decided to fire Bischoff last week.

The Street Profits and Matt Riddle hit iconic finishers

The Street Profits are set to team up with a mystery partner tonight on Monday Night RAW to take on The OC. The former NXT tag team champions are reportedly set to pick Matt Riddle – someone they teamed up with at a recent live event.

The trio were in the ring with the Undisputed Era and hit iconic finishers. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins delivered a Stone Cold Stunner and the Rock Bottom while Riddle hit a Jackhammer to finish things off.

The OC attacked the former NXT champions last week on RAW when they were backstage. The move saw Montez and Dawkins hunt for a partner to take on The OC and they are set to reveal him tonight, just before their match.

This will be The Street Profits' in-ring debut on Monday Night RAW and if Riddle joins them, it will be his debut as well. It is not clear if the mixed martial artist is set to be promoted to the main roster or not.

Xavier Woods injured at Live Event

Xavier Woods suffered an unfortunate injury during a match against The Revival at a Live Event. The New Day star teamed up with Big E to take on the former RAW tag-team champions but injured himself.

The referee was seen attending to Woods straight away, and The Revival also understood that the injury was a serious one and stepped back. The official threw an X sign to indicate that the New Day star was legitimately injured and unable to continue.

Woods then took to Twitter to reveal that he has injured his Achilles Tendon. This could rule him out for a few months or even a year, depending on the severity of the injury.

WWE released a statement on the injury but did not reveal how long he will be out. They said:

Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles injury, WWE.com has learned. Woods sustained the injury at a WWE Live Event in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday night and will be unable to finish WWE’s Australian tour.

Randy Orton moving to AEW or looking for a big WWE deal?

Randy Orton stunned the WWE Universe on Monday with a cryptic post on Instagram. The former WWE champion posted a selfie near a sign that read 'Elite Level'.

What caught the fans' eyes was the caption that read 'tick tock tick tock' and the tags. Orton tagged The Revival, Luke Harper, and Elias along with All Elite Wrestling's Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho.

Dave Meltzer spoke about the situation, saying:

"Maybe his contract’s up and he’s playing the game. And he should. I mean, he’s fixing to able to get a lot and lot of money if his contract’s up. And what is he, 38 years old? 39? So this is the time. This is the time to get that last big contract. He’s probably one of those guys who will want to work a minimal schedule and WWE is giving him a minimal schedule, he’s not out there killing himself."
