In today's WWE Rumor Roundup, we bring reports of Ronda Rousey's return to WWE after her last appearance at WrestleMania 35, who the King of the Ring winners could be and their possible reward for winning the tournament, as well as hints at the WWE legend that "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt could target next.

#1 Ronda Rousey's return

Ronda Rousey could return for a rematch with Becky Lynch in WWE

Former RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey has not been on WWE television for over four months, having last appeared on WWE television at WrestleMania 35, where she lost her title to Becky Lynch in the WrestleMania main event.

There have been reports and speculation that Rousey is stepping away from WWE, despite having a contract with the promotion till 2021.

Now, Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestleTalk) are reporting that WWE want Rousey to return to the company and that speculation backstage is that she will surely make her return. The report further states that WWE do not want her back for one-off appearances and that they intend to use her like how they have used Goldberg recently.

She could possibly return for a rematch with rival Becky Lynch, as the two have never faced each other in a one-on-one match.

Rousey is a part of Fox's 9-1-1 show, while also filming a movie with WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley.

Reports earlier also suggested that WWE could use Rousey for the first SmackDown Live show on FOX, which will air in October.

#2 What winners of King of the Ring could get

Kurt Angle won the King of the Ring tournament in 2000

The 2019 edition of the King of the Ring tournament began last week on WWE RAW, and we will see the second round of the tournament this week on RAW and SmackDown Live. Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander have progressed from RAW to the second round of the tournament, while Elias and Andrade have progressed from the blue brand.

The King of the Ring, historically, has been a great way to build up an upcoming and potential World Champion, with the likes of Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and Kurt Angle winning the tournament and becoming legends.

Kurt Angle, in a Facebook Q&A session, spoke about what the King of the Ring winners would get after winning the 2019 edition: (H/T NODQ)

"The winner of the King of the Ring will most likely be in the hunt for the World Title. I’m not going to mention who needs to win it because every single athlete in the tournament will need to win it. If you look at previous winners, most of them conquered the WWE after they won the King of the Ring,” said Angle.

#3 King of the Ring semi-finalists

Samoa Joe and Ricochet

The finals of the King of the Ring tournament will take place at the Clash of Champions PPV, which will be held on September 15. The next two RAW and SmackDown Live shows will decide the finalists of the tournament.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter have reported on the possible finalists from RAW and SmackDown, with some interesting names thrown about. On the red brand, we could potentially see a match between Baron Corbin and Ricochet, or Cedric Alexander and Samoa Joe.

The report suggests that the SmackDown semi-final could see Ali and Andrade face-off, but the report further states that Buddy Murphy, who has apparently impressed people backstage, could also be one of the semi-finalists from the blue brand.

The last winner of the King of the Ring tournament was Bad News Barrett, who defeated Neville, back in 2015, which was the last time the tournament was held.

#4 WWE 24/7 title producers

The 24/7 title has been one of the best things about WWE in 2019, with the title changing hands quickly, great comedic segments, and R-Truth!

This past week, we also saw the first non-wrestler win the title when FOX's Rob Stone pinned R-Truth, but he was quickly pinned by Elias, who is the current 24/7 champion.

The segment was reportedly produced by Adam Pearce and Bruce Prichard, as per PW Insider.

#5 The Fiend's next legendary target

"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt is probably one of the best gimmicks of the year, with Wyatt putting in a lot of thought and process to develop the gimmick, which has worked wonders.

Since adopting this alter ego, Wyatt has attacked several WWE legends over the last few weeks, which includes the likes of Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, and more recently, Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Wyatt teased and revealed which WWE legend he could target next on social media. In reply to a post by WWE India's Twitter page, Wyatt said that his next target will be WWE Hall of Famer, Sting.

Sting's last appearance on WWE television was at Ric Flair's 70th birthday bash back in February, which was when Batista ambushed and attacked Flair, and set up his feud with Triple H.

#6 Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan's reaction to CM Punk chants

CM Punk is still a much-loved figure among the WWE Universe, and "CM Punk" chants are commonplace in WWE shows. But fans in Peru were in for a treat when they chanted the name of the former WWE Superstar during the match between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan as Bryan performed Punk's trademark move, GTS, not once, but twice; Kofi then landed a GTS of his own, which surprised a lot of the fans.
