In today's roundup, we take a look at the shocking comments about All Elite Wrestling by an unnamed WWE Superstar, Paige taking a shot at Seth Rollins and more. The rumor mill was filled with a lot of interesting gossip after Friday Night SmackDown, and we have the best of the lot right here.

Without further ado, let's start with the two big headline makers of the day:

CM Punk's conditions for WWE return

CM Punk returning to WWE is something all the fans are clamoring of. The former WWE champion might be nowhere near a comeback, but his name is chanted in almost all the arenas.

The rumours have been at an all-time high now, and Punk himself has been adding fuel to them. He was asked on Pardon My Take podcast about what it would take for him to return to WWE and he said:

I don't think they have that much money. Maybe I can be paid in stocks. I think the conversation would have to start at somewhere like, 20–25 [million]. I'm not doing a single (Saudi Arabia show). (H/T Fightful)

Triple H's recent comments on Punk were also too big to ignore for the fans. He revealed that the company is always open to doing business and that the past is forgotten.

Controversial finish planned for Crown Jewel?

WWE's pay-per-view, Hell In A Cell had a controversial finish, and the fans were not happy about it. The WWE Universal Championship match was stopped, and Rollins retained the title.

Now, Cagesideseats report that the company is planning another controversial finish at Crown Jewel. They say that Brock Lesnar is expected to retain the WWE Championship against Cain Velasquez and isn't expected to drop the title any time soon.

Their report read: “Brock Lesnar isn’t expected to lose the WWE championship anytime soon, so expect some sort of schmoz finish at Crown Jewel.”

Bully Ray not happy with Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury

Braun Strowman is set to go one-on-one against Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel and all indications are that the WWE Superstar will be knocked out. The match is billed as one of the top ones at the pay-per-view but Bully Ray believes that the loss would be bad for the Monster Among Men.

He said on SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio:

"If the business here with WWE is just to get an ESPN Sportscenter moment, that's fine. But I don't want to see them do it at the expense of Braun Strowman. I think that there's too much of a risk, because then he's always the guy that got knocked out by Tyson Fury."

Bully Ray continued to talk about how this match cannot be compared to the WrestleMania XI one where Bam Bam Bigelow lost to legendary NFL linebacker Lawrence Taylor. He said:

"The difference between Braun Strowman against Tyson Fury and Bully Ray and Brandon jacobs or Bam Bam Bigelow and Lawrence Taylor is that Bully and Bam Bam were heels. They could afford to lose. We're not in that situation with Braun."

Unnamed WWE Superstar praises All Elite Wrestling

WWE vs AEW
WWE vs AEW

There is absolutely no hiding from the fact that there are some WWE Superstars who watch All Elite Wrestling. The companies might not be competing right now but the media talk about them going head-to-head is not going to stop.

An unnamed WWE Superstar has now spoken to WrestlingNews.co and heaped praise on AEW. In the process, he has also revealed that a few WWE Superstars are looking to the new promotion once their contracts expire. He said:

Let’s just state the obvious, Vince is still in charge and nothing will change until he steps down and that might not happen for another 10 years or more. A lot of guys realize this and some will take the money, but some guys have a lot of money saved up and that AEW schedule looks really good. I don’t know how many of us watch AEW, but I know a few guys and girls here that watch the show every week. You can’t deny that their shows are great.

Paige takes shot at Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins might be the WWE Universal Champion and the face of the company but Paige is not happy with his catchphrase. The former Divas Champion said that it is annoying and she is not a big fan of it.

Paige appeared on the latest edition of WWE Backstage and said:

Can I say something though? The Burn it Down thing, it's just like trying to make fetch happen. And it's like, not gonna happen for me, and I get really annoyed by it.

Paige is not the only one with this opinion as a lot of WWE fans have also sided with her comments.

The WWE Universal champion is set to defend his title against The Fiend Bray Wyatt once again and this time it will be at Crown Jewel. It will be a Falls Count Anywhere match with a 'cannot be stopped for anything' stipulation added to it!
